My first all-inclusive resort experience, and it's so good that I think it would be hard to top…read more Six days and 5 nights is a good length to stay with children. Besides the price (extra $127/night for a toddler), we had a wonderful experience - the food (both quality and variety), the well-kepted grounds, the amenities (Kid's Club, gym, pools) and the service are all top-notch. Food: there are food available from 6AM to 11PM. Some places I visited multiple times are: The cafe (opens from 6AM to 11PM) - coffee, tea and Frappe available all day. I usually stopped by after the gym (yoga near the beach at 7AM) to grab a iced latte and freshly baked pastires (dulce de leches cruffin is my favorite). Habaneros (opens from 12-6PM) - this is a casual spot serving tacos and ceviche on the beach. Even my toddler enjoyed the mixed ceviche with octupus. I enjoyed the ceviche, salmon toastada, and octopus tacos, while my toddler playyed with sand on the beach next to the table. Moongate (opens after 5PM) - the only restaurant that requires reservation, but for Teppanyaki ONLY. We were able to make a reservation for 5PM about 3 days in advance. The Teppanyaki chefs are all super energetic and made the experience fun for both kids and adults. We went back for dinner, and enjoyed some Asian Fusion dinner of ramen and sushi/rolls. My favorites include Short-rib, Teriyaki Salmon and the Omakase Nigiri. Trade Winds (opens for breakfast and dinner) - best steak in the resort. Last but not least, it took me 3 days to find my non-alcoholic drink of choice - strawberry mojito. I'm not a fan of the pina colada here, just FYI. One thing I don't like is the dolphins in captivity. I know it's a major attraction of the resort, and my kids honestly enjoyed watching the dolphins swim around and being trained. But it still makes me sad to see them contained in such a limited area.

There are about 7-8 different restaurants and they all have their own theme/specialty. For the most part, the food here is amazing.. Like, I would come back as a regular paying customer. The people who work here appear to have a lot of pride and certainly make you feel well cared for. The service has been nothing but amazing. Highly recommend renting a cabana for a day or more. It comes with its own food/drink service (although sometimes we didn't see them for long stretches of time). You also get a free 5 minute facial for two people and two complimentary coconuts. Highly recommend because the bench chairs get taken up early in the day with people who simply put towels on them and walk away. The views here are amazing. The water is warm and blue. Everything I learned about cancun was real lol. I'd definitely come back here again in the future!

Although the hotel is little old and not as much activities like the other hotel offers we definitely have a wonderful experience and we love that our room is located just outside of the pool and beach area . They also have a convenience store which was nice and we can buy eggs, bacon, bread etc for our breakfast. The room has a good size kitchen, stove top, microwave , toaster and kitchen utensil which was very good for us since my son likes simple things and we can easily make it and less expensive ad well:) One thing I like most also is because of our room location we can just have breakfast in our balcony and see the pool and the ocean and walk while see my son in the balcony which is amazing! Today is our last day but we are definitely coming back to Cancun. The one thing we don't like so much is the pillows and the bed little hard it hurts our neck. Other than that we had a great vacation :)

Breakfast buffet was included which was amazing. The down side is that the hotel faces north. It blocks its own sunshine. So the pool doesn't get any sunshine until about 11am and then it's in the shadow from 4:30pm onwards. The beach outside the hotel is very shallow. The water will reach your knees for quite some distance until there's a drop. I'm not sure if this is naturally occurring or man made. It is also far from the other hotels where they typically provide water sports (jet skis, parasailing etc). They provide airport transportation at 350 pesos per trip. This is much cheaper than hiring a private car.

So, the first day I was here I ordered chicken tenders and fries(because Im a toddler) because I didn't want to leave for food. After eating it I was a little queasy and threw up a bit and thought nothing of it. Especially since the food was cold when it arrived. Next, I ordered a plate of pineapple and an hour later I was projectile vomiting in the bathroom I almost didn't make it. However, my body was trying to get rid of those toxins so quick that I threw up so hard so many times my ribs on my left side were bruised. I mean to the point where laying down was the only thing that barely helped the pain. I had Ibuprofen delivered to my room which I know is harsh on the stomach but I needed pain relief. I had to have the people in the airport help me. I should have gone to the ER when I came back home but I didn't. I'm still sore. I know it's sick........... but I would come back here again because I love the room, the pool, the view, the staff, the vibe, and the price! I will wait a few months but besides almost offing me with the room service I loved every other aspect! Not too many kids either. It was a bit loud at times when people came back from partying. Other than that I really did love this place.

It's clean, safe and centrally located. Walking distance to restaurants, stores and clubs. Swimming pool was clean and family oriented. To me, the food was overpriced so I decided to walk out to the restaurants outside the property. Cocktails are served in disposable plastic cups. The only thing that really bother me was the "concierge " that they assigned you. Almost every time we stepped into the lobby, they will approach you and will try to sale you discounted activity packages. I was on vacation and did not have any intentions on following any of their schedules. Other than that, the rest of their staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and I would stay here again.

We arrived late and asked for bottled water, and were told to just drink the sink water... in Mexico. That alone set the tone. I also repeatedly emailed our concierge for assistance and received no response whatsoever. Our room smelled like mold, and the sheets were damp. Housekeeping replaced them, but the odor and overall condition never improved. Not what you expect at this level. Then it got worse. We had two rooms, one at this hotel and one at a neighboring hotel where a large group of our family was staying. That other hotel requires wristbands, which we had, so security here assumed we didn't belong, even though we had rooms at this property. At the pool, they approached us publicly and repeatedly questioned us, over and over, in front of everyone. No attempt to verify privately, no discretion, just standing over us and making a scene. It was humiliating. Then it happened again. While checking out, we crossed back onto this property to retrieve our luggage that they were holding. Security stopped us again and treated us like we were doing something wrong, only to confirm, once again, that we were legitimate guests. Two separate incidents. Same behavior. The level of aggression and lack of professionalism from security is completely out of control. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated. This wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a failure in how guests are handled, and it happened more than once. We will never stay here again.
