Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

Today is our last day but we are definitely coming back to Cancun. The one thing we don't like so much is the pillows and the bed little hard it hurts our neck. So the pool doesn't get any sunshine until about 11am and then it's in the shadow from 4:30pm onwards. The beach outside the hotel is very shallow. The water will reach your knees for quite some distance until there's a drop. I'm not sure if this is naturally occurring or man made. It is also far from the other hotels where they typically provide water sports (jet skis, parasailing etc). They provide airport transportation at 350 pesos per trip. This is much cheaper than hiring a private car.

The OUTSIDE BAR, POOLS AND BEACHES*** was just magnificent!!! The pool area was very luxurious! Felt like I was at an elite resort. The bar had good drinks and the bartender understood English pretty well!! Their access to the beach had a nice set up. They had cabanas, chairs and huts. There was always plenty- never had to wait for someone to get up or anything. This hotel is in the perfect location of everything!!!! Side Note- To set up a shuttle to and from the airport, go to the hotel's website and select 'Contact Us' and tell them you need a shuttle and they will reply to you within 24hrs asking about your arrival time and further instructions. They have been completely inappropriate with the incident and during my stay made sure I would still be responsible for my obligation, meaning my bill, and yes I PAID IT. They also had a competition at the pool area that was entertaining to watch. Restrooms could have been better marked for directions as I wondered we around for a hot minute to find the ones labeled on the maps. Maybe it was just me? I also repeatedly emailed our concierge for assistance and received no response whatsoever. Our room smelled like mold, and the sheets were damp. Housekeeping replaced them, but the odor and overall condition never improved. Not what you expect at this level. Then it got worse. We had two rooms, one at this hotel and one at a neighboring hotel where a large group of our family was staying. That other hotel requires wristbands, which we had, so security here assumed we didn't belong, even though we had rooms at this property. At the pool, they approached us publicly and repeatedly questioned us, over and over, in front of everyone. No attempt to verify privately, no discretion, just standing over us and making a scene. It was humiliating. Then it happened again. While checking out, we crossed back onto this property to retrieve our luggage that they were holding. Security stopped us again and treated us like we were doing something wrong, only to confirm, once again, that we were legitimate guests. Two separate incidents. Same behavior. The level of aggression and lack of professionalism from security is completely out of control. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated. This wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a failure in how guests are handled, and it happened more than once. We will never stay here again.

Our room was spotless and the a/c was super cool. A 5 liter bottle of water was chilling in the refrigerator when we arrived. We loved the staff and the pool was fabulous. Located on a lagoon instead of the beach, it's the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

I was able to easily place a rental for a beach wheelchair online and by the time we arrived to the resort the handoff with the driver was super seamless. After a day or two, we realized that we actually were in need of a regular wheelchair instead of a beach wheelchair and they were able to do a same day swap. I am new to navigating the world of traveling with elderly + people with disabilities and this made our trip so much easier. I am so thankful that a service like this exists so we could all enjoy our vacation and rest a little bit easier.
