We had a…read more19 year old Shiba who definitely lived up to the breed's reputation for stubbornness, so I knew that I wanted to start training early with our puppy so she could come along on any adventure without causing stress. At just over half way through the course of training sessions, she has excellent recall, is a pleasure to walk, has stopped jumping on strangers and unknown dogs and is better behaved around the house. At only 6 months of age, I've taken her along on canoe trips, bike rides and off leash hikes with confidence that she's not going to run off or cause trouble. I'm very glad that we started training with Julie as early as we did, and our puppy is thrilled that she never gets left at home for fear she won't behave herself.

Our dog Blue is a former shelter dog with limited social skills and some anxiety. Hunter zeroed in on what he needed and gave us clear instructions and support. Within a couple of months, Sadie blossomed! She is now a sweet, confident and playful girl. Haley taught me how to train Sadie for off-leash hikes, which is now our favorite way to exercise. We've even met other off-leash dog walkers and joined up with them for hikes. The other day on a hike, my fellow hiker commented on how responsive Sadie is to my commands. I was so proud! But I give all the credit to Haley and her partner, Allegra. They helped Sadie become the best version of herself! What ultimately sold me on Meg was our initial conversation and seeing her work first hand. Our initial conversation was very informative and I never felt pressured into making a decision. We saw Meg's work first hand when we meet a dog named Olive, I asked how did they get Olive to be so well behaved?! They raved about their experience at Composed Canine and I knew it was meant to be! When it comes to knowledge, Meg has endless amounts of knowledge and different tools to help the owner. What I learned with her was that my dog is capable, but only if I hold him accountable. We went out of town on a family trip last weekend and had to leave our dogs, one of which is a…read morecranky old Chihuahua named Arnie. Due to his temperament and age, we are highly selective of who takes care of him. We worry about his safety; and that of the dog sitter. We were referred to Home 2 Paws by a family member. We gave them the key to our house, some quick feeding instructions, and wished them good luck. We were absolutely delighted with the professionalism and care of Home 2 Paws. They gave us updates on their visits and even send us a few pictures of our dogs playing and relaxing. When we returned home our house was clean and the dogs were perfectly happy.
