When I reached HQ they said they were only authorized to refund six months and would have to get "permission" from the actual car wash location manager. We waited, but no response. A week later I called, same answer, said they'd try to reach that store manager again. So why four stars? We just checked our Discover card and found that they had refunded 12 months. And when I wrote to say thanks but it should be 16, they refunded the other four. Sure, it would've been better if they'd done everything right the first time, or even the second, but the bottom line is, they refunded the full amount shortly after being notified of their error. I don't want to spend 10 minutes cleaning and drying my car after I pay to get it washed. The towels they provide for you to clean and dry your car (that should already be cleaned and dried), are always damp. To top it off, their prices have gone up 30% over the past few years and it feels like they have actually taken away some things from the cheaper wash. Want your rims cleaned a bit better? You have to pay for the more expensive wash. Want the underside of your car sprayed? You have to pay for the more expensive wash. It's some ridiculous stuff that you have to overpay for something that you should already get. Their premium wash is like $28 which is nuts for a drive through wash that requires you to get out and dry and clean your own car afterwards. You can go to HEB and get their premium wash for $13 and it actually dries your car, cleans your wheels and rims and has an undercarriage spray. The staff is almost always friendly, so no issue there. The vacuum suction was often bad in the past, but some time in the past year it looks like they redesigned and or fixed that system so the vacuums do work quite a bit better now.
