This place even beats Jungle Jim's as far as pepper species go. Habanero, jalepeno, and banana as well as sweet peppers in every color of the rainbow, all can be bought here. Heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, and eggplant are also available in varieties that aren't sold in most grocery stores. In addition to the fresh fruit and produce, a number of specialty vendors sell homemade pies, cakes, bread, salsa, jams, preserves, and pickles. Fresh potted herbs such as oregano, parsley, dill, sage, rosemary, and cilantro are often available for less than $3. It's definitely family friendly and a good place to spend time walking around enjoying life, family, other people and the true essence of a farmers market - the products. My only complaint is I would like to see a few more different vendors. They have a lot of produce vendors who all mainly sell the same types of veggies, fruits and herbs. I get that it's a farmers market but some more different type of vendors (other than produce - i.e. dessert, body products, ice cream, etc.) would be a nice addition or change.

I walked in through the doors of the Church and found a smallish set-up with tables stocked with wares from various farmers and food producers. I spoke with one of the two business partners of the fermented food operation and it was a pleasure to speak to the fellow who made the food I was enjoying so much. His affected hippiesque speaking style was appreciated, not overwhelming and lent authenticity to the experience. I was, after all, chowing down on rotting vegetables. But rotting in a truly remarkable way. Flute music was being played by another guy at a nearby table, and it seems that music is scheduled for proper marketing ambiance. The website lists some of the products to expect, but microgreens, honey, various root vegetables, gourmet cookies, spices and herbs, apples and other stuff I'm forgetting are there for your shopping convenience. I bought the most delicious strawberries ever from Lobenstien Farms. Flavor was amazing. I also bought the best spring honey. Lovely floral taste. There were two farm raised meat vendors.
