Because we live downtown, I wanted to find a dentist that was close and convenient. Bingo! Yes the office is located in an old building...part of the charm! One of the many things I love about Milwaukee is that they have kept their architecture and old buildings. I think there is actually a historical society on the first floor. Anyway, while the building is quaint, the office is warm and up to date. Everyone from the front office, to the hygienist, to Dr. Zeeb are very nice and make you feel comfortable. I have to be honest I am that person who has dental anxiety, I do not know why but whenever I go to the dentist I sincerely get palpitations. Everyone in this office makes you feel very at ease. I had a full exam in which unfortunately resulted in the diagnosis that I need to have some cavities filled. However, Dr. Zeeb showed me the x-rays and explained everything thoroughly and showing me the pictures and my options. Betty was my hygienist and she is very gentle and works very quickly! Dawn at the front desk is really good about working with tricky schedules, getting insurance information and reminders. So glad I was able to find a dentist for the whole family in a location convenient to our home. There is a parking garage right next door and Dr. Zeeb's office does validate your parking...yay!

He's gentle, calm, and great takes care of me. Sadly, I've had more than my share of dental dramas and traumas. He's rearranged his schedule on numerous occasions to see me, including today. I'm headed out of town tomorrow and I had already made an appointment for a painful tooth a couple of weeks from now. When it got worse today, I literally jumped off a bus on Water & Wisconsin on my way to work, called the office from the corner, and was in a dentist chair 5 minutes later. He took his time to analyze my problem and come up with the best plan for care given the fact that I have an early flight tomorrow. He's a first rate dentist and a kind human. And, his new location is awesome with an amazing view of the city!

He had to give me the hard news of needing my wisdom teeth removed and also needing to have my cavities filled. He was able to give me a referral to a lovely oral surgeon who took care of my wisdom tooth extraction easily and he took care of all of the cavities. He truly cares about your comfort during the experience as well and uses longer acting topical agents for numbing so your pain doesn't come back as soon as your filling is completed. He explains things well and gives you enough information to make informed decisions. He treats you with a lot of respect as well. The front desk staff is really kind as well and he makes it easy for you to get in for appointments.

As soon as you walk in, Haley will greet you and she is just so lovely! She knows all of their patients by name and even their partners (I got my husband to go there too). The hygienists are professional and thorough with their cleaning. This is a no judgement zone! I had not been to the dentist in a bit and they treated me with respect and patience. They do not usually take insurance but you can get reimbursed by your insurance after. Although this does not work for everyone, I recommend looking into it to see if this is an option because I swear this is the best dentist in MKE!

Dr. Schmidt was cordial, professional, thorough and resolved my issue with excellent diagnosis. I highly recommend this team and I'm grateful for the quality of care they provided.

Extremely disappointed. Booked this appointment 2 weeks out for a wisdom tooth extraction and was…read morerescheduled for a cleaning with no wisdom tooth consult at all. The hygienist was extremely condescending and unfortunately this turned my nose up to this office. The doctor would not discuss pricing with me, even though I requested this two weeks prior (so I could budget for my wisdom tooth extraction), he told me to go online and look it up myself and they would just bill me. I thought this was laughable considering others HAVE to want to know pricing before just mindlessly scheduling. This was a top recommendation for me on my insurance website and I will be reviewing this office on their website to let others know not to have their hopes too high. Waste of time! Edit: At the end of the appointment the dentist came in and just looked at my teeth, poked around, and was ready to send me on my way. When I told him I was here for a wisdom tooth extraction consult--he pulled a general little spiel out of his ass about nerves and sinuses. Then of course I expressed my concern that this was literally a cleaning and hardy any mention of my wisdom teeth. He touched my shoulder and told me TO CALM DOWN! You have to be kidding me. Believe me when I tell you that I was no where near as upset as I should have been. I respected his office by continuing a calm persona... DO NOT GO HERE

I thought he would run away when he saw the dental tools, but they made it fun without pressure if they couldn't finish the cleaning. They were able to finish though with minimal crying. They made it fun for him! They had a cartoon on the TV and let him see the equipment before using it. He also liked his sticker at the end. The waiting room has a nice view of the river, but I never spend too much time looking at it. Wait times are always very short! Also, they are very flexible with us when scheduling or rescheduling our appointments. I can't speak for the parking, because we live very nearby and walk. Making an appointment with him is as difficult as trying to get his staff to submit your dental services to insurance company correctly. (Sometimes the "forget") The past couple of years, we've had many issues with incorrect billing and it's probably because he has a high turn around rate with his staff. The blonde receptionist that quit was as rude as can be every time you engaged with her.
