After a long day of travel, I stopped into this place and to my surprise it was outstanding. Impressive shop and overall environment. My barber/stylist was Lenore, hands down the best experience at a barber that I've ever had! She exemplified exceptional expertise in her craft, as well as in her attention to detail and customer service. I will definitely be back and I'll be asking for her to be my permanent barber/stylist. Absolutely perfect! read more

Reesha Barbers - My barber/stylist, Lenore. - Barbers Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

Ferah did an exceptional job on both my haircut and my beard (which she blended perfectly). I will be back.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish, and this location is just down the street from our new home. I called to see if they had availability at the last minute and they worked me right in. Scheduling was so easy. I strongly recommend the experience with Abdullah. He listened to me, made me feel immensely comfortable, and made me feel pampered. This was one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time with an intensely pleasant air all around. I'll definitely be returning. read more

I've come to this shop for three years and have always gone to Ferah. I can't speak for anyone else here, but Ferah has been incredible. My hair gets compliments constantly. She has worked together with me to find a style that I like. I went to a "fancy" barbershop in town once and had to come to Ferah the next day to fix it. Book Ferah! read more

Reesha Barbers - Barbers Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

Went to the newly opened Reesha in Woodstock recently, and what a great experience it was! I showed Mr. Silver a picture of Jeff Bridges and told him to "make me look like that." He said "I got ya" and proceeded to do exactly that with my hair. I was however, disappointed he couldn't do more with my face. Guess they don't do plastic surgery. Nice chill vibe, and extremely competent with the cuts. I will definitely return. Win Minter read more

New place. Don't have their act together. I scheduled a 3pm appt. Left work at 2pm but traffic was bad so I called them to let them know I'd be 5-10min late. No answer. Called again. No answer. Got a call from them at 302 asking where I was. Said I was 5 min away. Got there and was then told I'd have to wait an hour for the next opening. Not even an apology. No thanks. Not coming back. read more

Had an appt with Fred at 12:45pm. Walked in at 12:40pm, and told him that my appt is at 12:45pm. He proceeded to tell me that he had been running an hour behind on all appointments. I said, no worries - so 1:45pm works. He further proceeded to tell me - he has no appointments for today - and he is booked for the whole day. I asked him politely that if he is running an hour behind - why can I not be moved to 1:45pm - he told me that I can use one of the other barbers (Marhan). I didn't want to argue so I just went with Marhan, who did a fantastic job - and got tipped well. At the other end, when I was getting finished up - Mr Farhan (Fred) was not to be seen - he had no other appointments- so he just didn't want to take my 12:45pm appointment. Ridiculous and zero customer service! Will NEVER use these guys again because of Mr Farhan. Learn to respect everyone's time and appointments!! read more

I got a haircut and beard trim from Silver today. I kid you not when I say it's the best haircut I've had in the 29 years of my life! Ask for Silver when you come! As a secondary note, this is one of the cleanest barber shops I've been to...they take every precaution to make sure their tools are kept clean between people, and even for the same person! read more

WARNING this is no longer American barber shop, this is now "REESHA" barber shop the business has changed over management and they are all awful! I tried booking an appointment with Mr. Farhard on two separate occasions, he not only canceled last minute but tried giving me off to another barber simply because he did not want to just do a simple bead trim. He came up with excuses that he couldn't do it in the time that was scheduled, now given the app is the one who allots the time, it was clear he just wanted to leave early. He has wasted my time twice and could care less, being extremely rude about it. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. read more

Lida is by far the best barber my kids or I have used. She is a great listener, gave her thoughts when I wanted to try something new and seems to get better each time we go. Very satisfied customer and we'll follow Lida to whatever barbershop she goes. read more

This is the second time I have had to wait longer than 25 minutes for an appointment. I had it happen a year ago at this location and end up leaving and not coming back for a year. I gave them another try and it happened again. I have nothing against the haircut experience here. It was fine, but if an appointment is going to take longer, the time should be allotted correctly on the booking page. No apology given or a heads up that i would be waiting 30 extra minutes. I ended up leaving and getting a refund. I will not be going back. read more

Update: I have gone back and had two shaves, which were considerably better. The haircuts continue to be excellent and this is my go to place. read more

Got a father-son haircut from Lida here and was extremely pleased. She's always fast, accurate, and professional. The place itself is super-clean and even though we usually have an appointment, I've seen them handle plenty of walk-ins easily. I will continue to return due to the consistency of cut and the friendly stylists who know exactly what they're doing. Highly recommended. Just watch your step on the sidewalk outside since there's a vet office right next door!!! read more

The haircut I received was not bad, but it was just way more extreme than what I asked for. It's growing in nicely, but bro went wayyyyy too short up the sides. He did a great job with my beard. read more

Let me start of by saying it is a nice shop and the vibes are nice. But they need to get better barbers. At least for African American people. I called and ask in person if they had experience in cutting black people hair and they said yes. Not saying they lied but they need to improve their standards on what a haircut for certain cultures looks like. I gave him a picture of my old haircut for reference and he cut it nothing like it. Worst $36 spent. read more

I see from previous review, I'm not alone in having a bad experience at this barber. My first trip (and last) was a disaster. I'll admit that I don't have the easiest hair to cut. As a result of this I know exactly what works for my head shape/hair and what does NOT. I asked the stylist to perform a very small trim in a specific area of my head. The stylist not only ignored my request she repeatedly "shaped" my cut against my wishes. When I told her that she was not to cut in that area she told me it was necessary to blend in the cut which I told her was going to screw up my cut. I should've walked out immediately, but it was too late. She did exactly the opposite of what I requested and I guess I'll be wearing a hat for a few weeks. Beware of this barber. read more

This is the second time we've tried to have our HS kid's hair cut here. Two different people, similar result. I should have been skeptical when the guy asked for a picture of what my son wanted the second we walked in the door. A trim and "he wants to have it messy and like this, so just keep the same shape" turned in to a total butcher job with super short sides and 3" at least cut off the top. My son tried to tell him multiple times "that's enough there" and he'd go away from that side and then go back. This one was worse than the other but neither were good. Kid was super ticked, rightfully so. Zero apology or accountability for it not being at all the same shape, regardless of length. It's the stylist/barber's job to say "I can't keep it that way unless we do this or that" etc...not just lop it off willie-nillie. Maybe he needs a picture to cut hair. So if you don't have one, I'd avoid. read more

To be honest, they fooled me by making my haircut seem well at first. Until I realized the lady grabbed the buzzers and started shaving my head to the point there was only two inches. I went out of there feeling defeated knowing that people at school would have to see me. Not a good experience. read more

Since my previous personal barber handed over his business to his son, it became less and less personal and more lie a great clips rotating out personnel like flavors of the month. So I tried Reesha which was really close to home. Loved the deco, not packed and met my current barber Mahnaz for the first and now every time. Got my style and gave it a bump. Meticulous to catch every hair out of place or not quite right and go over and over till it is. Always the same treatment a couple of years later and is always a pleasure to visit. Thank you Mahnaz! read more

I got scalped. Literally and figuratively, while it costs me $30. I emailed what appeared to be Corp. on their website 2 days ago with my issues and complaint, but received no response. Absolutely the worst haircut ever given. It WILL TAKE MONTHS to grow out their mistakes. My dog groomer would have given me a better cut. NEVER AGAIN !! I do NOT RECOMMEND this East Cobb establishment read more

We have been going to the Roswell location of American Barber for years (myself and two boys). When I learned our barber, Lida, would be moving to the new East Cobb location, there was no question we would follow her. Lida is fantastic and has amazing patience with our boys. They can't wait to get their haircut! The new East Cobb location is absolutely amazing and this is the place you want to go for a shave and a haircut! read more

This barbershop is amazing. My hair came out perfect and I've been going here for a long time and never had a bad experience. The barber I go to is named Lida. She is fantastic and always does a great job definitely would recommend. read more

Great work with my hair; impressed and definitely going back barber was thorough courteous and skilled

Silver did an amazing cut for myself and my son. He was professional and the shop was cool and clean.

Mahnaz is the best. Great cut and attention to detail. Hope she stays at the East Cobb shop.

I don't remember who cut my hair but he was the New York fan but he absolutely ruined my hair I don't have pictures but I recently went to a barber and said that he completely ruined the crown part of my hair he just went up to high on my cut. Now I have to wait and let my hair grow. Will not be coming back. read more

Worst barber shop ever, barber smells like cigarettes and awful customer service when asked for a different barber they disrespected me and my family. read more

Lida is a great barber! But making an appointment through American's website or over the phone was difficult. I was hung up on, had trouble navigating the locations and nearly gave up. read more

When I first went here it was a good experience the very first time at this location. Now it's just become a complete disaster. I haven't been back here in a few months due to the destruction of my neck and face with a razor blade along with the cigarette smell on their fingertips. $50 to end up with a bunch of cuts to my neck, along with a $20 hair cut. Half the people who work here cannot do proper fade. So I go back thinking maybe the one guy who actually did an amazing job and did not cut me up at all will be back. I book an appointment go in. See the guy who cut my hair last time thankfully he is busy so I get another guy. He cannot cut my hair but can cut my hair(makes sense right, I was confused too). Doesn't do an awful job not the best. I say hey how are you with beards. Goes oh I'm great! Cuts me up just like the last guy!! Takes a towel out of the dirty bin and uses it after he just tossed it in there. The cigarette smell comes from this guys hands as well. Hair cut was again decent, beard and razor clean up...was terrible once again. Get this the price also went up. Online it did not say that so I paid $60 for a crap experience...I am baffled. I literally go to American barber for the hot shave and nice towel. I will not go to this location ever again or recommend them. I can get a better a better treatment at great clips for $20. This is not a barber shop this is a glorified great clips that overcharges for something they cannot do. If you can get your needs taken care of at great clips save your money and go on there. I like a great beard experience, hints why I tried coming here. Never again. read more
