When I first started to visit, it was Dr. Sugimori. He was more on the stern side and he would call you out if you're failing on your dental hygiene but will kindly explain to you on why it's so important. As the years went by I saw Dr. Sugimori less, and I believe his daughter Lisa and Dr. Ibarra started to look after me more. Both are great people, super kind and respectful. It shows that this office has great management. You can tell the whole staff seem to be happy working there. I often go see them around the time they take spring breaks and such and I remember Dr. Ibarra mentioning staff is happier when they take these breaks. I truly see it in their attitude. The front ladies are awesome in scheduling. Even when I mess up sometimes and come to appointments late, they are always so kind about it. Oh! And an added bonus, I believe they are trilingual in staffing. They speak English, Japanese, Spanish. Which caters to a good bunch of the demographic in the area Also, what I love about this place is that they give you your estimated pricing way in advance. Other places wouldn't let me know until after the fact, so I appreciate this service. As for the skills, every staff here is talented. Their equipment upgrades every time I visit. I notice especially because when I was dentist hopping back in the day, I would find places that didn't even have a spitting table and would ask me to get up and go spit. Meanwhile, this office is at the next level where they're speaking into a speaker to take notes. Their x-rays are getting better, and I feel like even their anesthetic is becoming easier to take in. I remember I used to suffer getting my teeth numbed more than the procedures, now, I barely feel the needle going into my mouth. If I can fall asleep because I feel so relaxed while getting a filling done on my tooth, that tells me they're doing a pretty good job. All the conversations had with the staff is great.
