They said "often" so I asked how they deal with it. They said said they just have to be firm or they'd never get their work done. This is true of my business as well. Please, folks, respect their time! This is normal behavior for her, so we didn't think anything of it. We took off to our destination and around 4:00 pm I received a phone call from Marisol, the owner. She left a voicemail saying they had a problem with Belle. I called her back and that's when she told me that Belle had escaped through a part of the fence that was not secured. She said her husband took off on foot trying to catch her but she was too far to get her. Our entire plan was ruined within minutes. We called our family to start looking for Belle. No one was able to find her. We left our hotel and made it back to our hometown around 11 at night. We didn't even stop at home and drove directly to the location in an attempt to find her. Belle was no where to be found. We were devastated and heart broken. Our dog of 7 years was gone in a blink of an eye. After a heart wrenching 24 hours, we found Belle. She had been picked up by a Good Samaritan that kept her safe at night then called the Dog pound in the morning. I was so relieved when I saw her. We lost our hotel stay, our tickets to the event we were going too and our entire vacation. All things that can be replaced. Belle is irreplaceable. Belle is back home which is all that matters. However, I wanted to write this review for others to be aware that this might happen if you leave your fur babies in their care. I still don't know how everything happened and I choose not to investigate. But at least you have been informed.

In regards to the grooming my dog received, I instructed the groomer to shave her hair short except for her ears. For the most part this was followed except for her head. They left a patch untouched on her head and her whiskers were also not trimmed. I also told them to clip her nails, they got some but not all. I will not be using this business again and I don't recommend them.

Careless employee hurt my pet…read more I had never taken my pet here so I decided to give them a try, even though I read some negative reviews. I asked them to bathe her and clip her nails, however, they also cut her fur. When I picked her up, she seemed agitated and had lots of loose fur but other than that, she seemed fine. Later that day, she didn't seem like herself. She had very low energy and I saw she was kind of limping but didn't think much of it. That evening, my son noticed she had a couple of abrasions on her chest and what looked like a puncture wound on her right leg! She was also having difficulty walking and seemed to be in pain. On the third day, she woke up with lots of swelling on that same leg which, according to her vet, was a result of the puncture wound. She picked up an infection from the wound and I picked up a $350 bill. After our visit to the vet, I stopped by the groomers again to speak with the manager and the receptionist seemed genuinely concerned. She said she'd talk to the owner to see if they'd at least pick up the Vet's bill. She called me the next day to say her boss would not take responsibility for Lexi's injury. I am outraged that sometime like this could happen and that they did not disclose it to me! I know accidents happen but this has really traumatized my dog.
