I found their website while doing a general search for live fish shipping kits. Their price for the kit was very reasonable and it included all the items I knew I would need (bags, heat pack, insulated styrofoam box, etc). In my moving-across-the-country-stress-induced haste, I ordered the kit, and entered the incorrect shipping address! I entered in the California address as opposed to the New York address (which is where my fish and I still resided for a few more weeks!) This error came to my attention when I saw the shipping confirmation email. Oops. I called Ship Your Aquatics within an hour of receiving the shipment email, and a human actually answered the phone. Yea, that is a rarity these days. His name was Brad, and he was more than friendly and helpful in accommodating my issue. He contacted fedex and had the address changed. I also got a follow up email from a Robyn in the customer service/online center. And I'm not done! I even received a phone call the following day to confirm the address was changed from California to New York. I felt their impeccable customer service deserved a favorable Yelp review. We browsed around for a bit before finding cute, affordable fish. Cherry Barbs and Bleeding Heart Tetras. I was hesitant to ask questions after being scolded by and shunned by a different store but the guy there was very helpful, informative and inclusive. I didn't feel like I was being preached to. We left with 5 fish and some bacteria stuff. 6 days later and they still seem happy and healthy. We will be going back in the future. Good selection that ranges between cheap fish and very expensive creatures, friendly staff and convenient location. Highly recommend.
