I contacted Reeds Landscaping via their website contact form about installing a fence in our backyard. Within an hour Chris responded back to schedule an appointment. Once an appointment was scheduled, Chris contacted me via text message to confirm (I prefer text as it's so much easier to communicate). Chris arrived on time for the appointment, took his measurements, and was on his way. Chris emailed me the same day with fence material options he used on past projects along with other materials. Chris provided a quote the following day and I have to say he gave a reasonable price which made me happy. Within a few days of receiving the quote and paying for 50% of the project, Chris ordered the materials and kept me updated via text to let me know when the delivery was expected. The morning of the delivery Chris informed me with ample timing of the delivery time slot. The very next day (weather permitting) Chris was able to bring his crew and they worked on installing my fence. Within a few hours I had a brand new privacy fence. We hired him to rebuild our front stone steps. The problem with Ric was his lack of communication…read moreon important aspects of the project. A few examples: He failed to mention, until the very end, that he would not re-install the metal railings on our stone steps and that we would have to hire someone else. He also did not build the bottom step to code. We brought it to his attention and asked if it would pass inspection and he said no. Then why would he build it if it's not to code?! The only real solution was to pay him to rebuild our brick walkway. His team did a very poor job with the walkway. They didn't use enough stone dust to fill cracks and did not put enough dirt on the edges so the bricks were starting to become loose. (Just a few days after!) I had to do additional work myself on the walkway in order for it to not fall apart in a few months.
