Despite being busy on the occasions we've dined, service was timely and efficient with food being served in a reasonable time. One and only disappointment keeping me from rating a full 5 stars is the side dishes. The green beans and collard greens were mushy. Baked beans lacked flavor. For as good as the entrees and appetizers are, it's a shame it seems the side dishes were just dumped out of a can. For tasty barbecue, you won't be disappointed with the entrees.

Luckily, the brisket and sausage stepped up -- my husband gave them two thumbs up (and he's picky, so that's saying something). The beans were simple, nothing fancy, but they did the trick. Was it the five-star experience I dreamed of? Not quite. But sometimes the best memories come from the unexpected stops -- and at least we left with full bellies and a funny story!
