My prescription last year was perfect and I trust the one I received today is as well. Last visit he informed me of on set of cataracts.Today he gave me objective and subjective outlook of my situation, due to the option of waiting to do surgery at a later date. The information given was very clear, leaving the option up to me. I understand my situation as explained which is most important. I chose to wait for the surgery but he said I can change my mind and he will move forward any time I would like. For now, returning in 6 months. My exam started at the scheduled time, rare! Dr Hayashi remembers his patients and is open to trying different things that may work best based on your feedback. One of my favorite things is that the office staff has the ability to text. They were really flexible with the schedule (same-day basically right away). They did it for free, even though I'm not a regular client (though I think I will be now). They even threw on new nose pads. I had already gone to another place that day that said they couldn't be fixed. That group thought they needed to tighten the screw and it wouldn't tighten more. So glad I called these guys. It was an 8+ minute hold, but I assume it's usually not that bad. Regardless, it seems like they're busy for good reason. It was worth the wait for me in this case.

The staff here are all very nice and patient. They are excellent at communicating with you especially with all of the different exam tests you are required to do. I honestly never had to do so many eye exams before, but I appreciated the thoroughness. Dr. Liao was the optometriest who assessed me and took care of my exam. I came here for contact lens exam, as well as, my eyeglass prescription. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough! She is very personable and takes the nerves away. She treats you like any other person and not just like a patient. They do not try to upsell you and truly want the best for you. I would definitely come back.
