You are locked in an abusive relationship. They don't really love or respect you. The hours you spend on the phone with them will never be recovered. You have invested much time in trying to avoid a breakup but the abuse never stopped. There is a new fiberoptic cable company called Metronet doing new installs in Portage. Our new service began yesterday and we wished we had been able to breakup with CS years ago. Do not believe them when they say they will die without you. The person who was supposed to come to my house told me to have 2 photo IDs ready AND a voided check from my bank account so they could provide it to the lender. I found this odd as I have done remote closings in the past and this was never required. The attorney handling the closing already had my information to wire the money to me. So I called my attorney and was informed that I was correct to be suspicious as this is NOT information the notary needs access to and the buyer's lender already HAD the information to wire my funds. There was also a BIG red flag in the text messages....the notary texted like a teenager. "Ur" for your, poor grammar and no knowledge of punctuation. Completely unprofessional. So, beware and do NOT give them any personal information other than the document and proof of who you are as that is ALL they need.
