I called to see about what may have happened. The lady that answered the phone didn't sound like she knew anything about me inquiry and that she had no idea what happened . she then assured me that she would get it to whoever it needed to so that I could get called to schedule a consultation. Called and left repeated voicemails requesting a call back regarding scheduling a consultation for a time-sensitive legal matter. Sent a detailed description of my issue in an email. 8 days later, after 3 voicemails, one email, and 0 calls back, I called the Paw Paw office. The woman who answered the phone was kind enough to listen to my whole story, and then told me my case was probably not enough for me to justify paying a $5,000 retainer. She gave me the number to another firm that could help me. I wish I knew her name, because that woman in Paw Paw is the only reason there are any stars on this review. Kalamazoo office, I'm so sorry my "small potatoes" case didnt even warrant a call back over the course of 8 days just to tell me you couldn't help me. Perhaps the intake coordinator needs some help if she can't find 10 minutes over the course of 8 days (6 business days) to call or email me. I used there services. I was made to feel as though i was guilty by my own lawyer. Through the entire service i was called twice and I was forced to call them Many Many times to find out what was going on because they would not call me to keep me up to speed. He would wait until the last minute to inform me of important things that could have cost me the case. During conversations about the case he would not listen to me. Important things were explained to me always last second. I feel he profiled me from the beginning and formed an negative opinion of me and he spoke to me very condescendingly in our meetings. It was as though he expected me to know what to do even though i was paying him $$ to tell me what to do. I felt lost during the whole thing not knowing what to do or what was going to happen. I would never recommend this firm to anyone. I gave the extra star because the goal was accomplished in the end. read more

Not too ecstatically impressed with their initial intake up to their consultation (primarily concerning their level of attentiveness and professionalism). As much as they are advertised as a top Law Firm, it remains clear to me that they market heavily and will do whatever it takes to get their name out there... Not like this is a bad thing, simply business. Now, be informed that I did not go through with their legal/professional services because of the way I was treated on the phone and handled during my attempt to set up an appointment. I have dealt with between 4 & 5 attorneys in the past 4 years from start to finish for primarily business and some personal matters. As far as shopping around and initial consult briefing, it has definitely been well over that, closer to 10+. I must say that, in my opinion, how one is greeted and how one is handled regarding customer service is of utmost importance. Was not very impressed, especially with what they advertise and the new improvements they have made to their building. Simply stated, my expectations were much higher... But hey, you know how opinions are and... What do I know!? Use your own discretion... If it feels funny, it typically is. I would love to be proved wrong, however. read more
