I like working with them because they schedule over text which is very convenient and their work looks good. The most recent job was the corroded hot and cold water spigots going to the washing machine in the garage. They had to cut away the drywall because it was leaking around it. TL;DR: Good folks, will use again. I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel, and so short a toilet for the family. Flush the toilet, and realize I'm standing in a puddle ... bad. Yeah, it's "just" a wax ring, but toilets are heavy and wax rings a hassle and, dangit, I need it done *right* when it's the only toilet I have right now. Marco was understanding and had a crew out very quickly, took care of it, boom. Not cheap, nobody is any more, but reasonable, and didn't try to upsell me the "platinum package" like a certain other outfit here in town in the yellow trucks. "These guys are good", said my husband. Reed Plumbing found the source of a leak in our garage walls right away. There was a hole in the pipe connected to our heater. The technician said this was common since water from the HVAC tends to be very acidic. Another company told us they believed the leak came from a bathroom and quoted us thousands to re-route the water pipes. Yikes! Luckily we came to our senses before we agreed to any work (there were too many red flags in our dealings with them). We got second and third opinions and nobody else recommended that fix. The prior owners of our home left us quite a present below the clean out in our drain. Multiple feet of grease and a drain that stops up every couple of weeks. A call to Reed Plumbing on Saturday evening led to an appointment Monday morning. Pepe and Gonzalo are the technicians that came to our house. They arrived on time and were friendly. They finished the job on time too. There's just one misunderstanding because this is their first time installing this brand of water conditioning system. They came back and fixed it. We had a blockage such that two upstairs showers and toilets wouldn't work, one toilet would leak at the base, and we couldn't use the clothes washer without the toilet leaking. Marcos was able to fit us in on the same day. Carlos and Raul came and took off the toilet and found the problem immediately. They used a snake to clear the blockage, and sealed up the toilet base. We had a broken water-main pipe, so Cal Water had to come out and shut us down late on a weeknight. The next day I had no idea who to call and took a shot at Reed Plumbing. Marco is the kind of guy you wished lived next door. Big, friendly, smart, and full of information. I called him at 10am and he was working on the fix by 12. Spent an hour a half replacing the water main T, new shut off lever, new pipes to the faucet, new faucet, all soldered neatly together. Clean and leak free. The first time we called Reed, they uncovered a larger plumbing issue under our home due to a bad remodel. They charged a fair price and educated us through the entire process. They also fixed a hissing toilet while at our home. The second time I called Reed, I thought I had an irrigation issue and trusted they could help me again. Raoul, came and replaced a 35 year old shower Delta valve, with a new Delta Classic valve. I had removed and capped the water lines prior, with Sharkbite caps (refer photos). Raoul was refreshingly knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. He managed to replace this valve without further expansion of the valve hole or cutting of additional tile, not an easy feat. We worked with Reed to re pipe all the water lines under the house from galvanized steel to PEX. I was very impressed with the communication. The first piece I was happy with was the estimate. It was much more detailed and thorough than the other companies I got quotes from (and a lower price I may add). Marco always responded very quickly, which is really important for me on the client side to get that responsiveness and clarity. Even just for basic question he would respond fast. The crew worked quickly, finishing in 2 days. The work was well done - full disclosure we did have a few minor issues. However after texting Marcos he had a crew out within 1 hour to fix the issues I pointed out. They really put an emphasis on making sure the customer is happy. That kind of reaction and customer service is what propels a company from a 3 or 4 star review to 5 stars. It's not necessarily that it was perfect, but the fast response and good communication will over ride any issues. Highly recommended and will use them for future projects. I hate to be the first person to break the 5-star review streak. I agree with all the other reviewers about the quality of service provided by Reed Plumbing. Communication was clear and prompt, and Pepe and Luis took care of my plumbing issue to my full satisfaction. I have NO issue with the work itself. But I felt a bit ripped off. I was told the price would be $300/hr, which is entirely reasonable. But they showed up at my house on time, took a quick look at my problem, and left about 5 minutes later to return to their shop to get some equipment. That trip took about an hour. They arrived back around 9:00 and got to work. They were finished by 10:15. At 10:30, they presented me with a bill for $800, which they said reflected 2.5 hours of work. But a full hour of that consisted of their travel time to and from their shop go get some equipment. Charging $300/hour for travel time is unreasonable. I'm not sure why they didn't show up with the necessary equipment in the first place. I expected to pay for plumbing work, not for travel time. So this is a great company as long as you are clear on the terms. read more

Reed Plumbing did a wonderful job to help with our plumbing issue + sewer clean out installation. We had a flooding issue in our shower whenever we used our washer machine. Reed Plumbing members were very fast to respond, they came out in the same day late afternoon (one day faster than original scheduled time). The team members are very professional and patient in going over with us possible issues, inspecting different areas of the house, and cleaning these partial blocks in sewer lines (also helped us resolve kitchen drain issues along the way). Due to our house pipe setup + no usable cleanout, so they could not use the normal way with a snake tool, the crew needed to climb up to the roof to drop the camera from the air intake pipe. They were also very accommodating and gave a quick date to install the clean out. They did a wonderful job with the cleanout installation (also recommendation on location + why only need one and future maintenance) + more detailed clean/inspection after the cleanout installation to ensure no further issue on main sewer line. The crew members ensured areas were restored and cleaned after their tasks. Will definitely contact them if we have plumbing related issues. read more
