He could not get the countertop straight so he said to get someone in which he paid for. The bad employee was while he was still working here. As for micromanaging i was at work mon-fri 8:30-6 so barely seen them and aggressively pulling on the plumbing lol. And thats not what leaked. The skylight was discussed and to studs as i was the one talking with him not my mother whom i take care of. He said he will even put cedar to box in the skylight to make it nice. As i said we got the contract after i asked why the bathrooms are not gutted. And says i would do damage to a done bathroom?what a joke anyways beware. Make sure you get everything in writing before you let him start. There is way better companies out there.im sure you can tell by the pics that the work he did was subpar grout,caulking etc.

He spent 4 days on scaffolding to replace all the stucco, window ledges and a large beam that ran across the length of the house. He also matched the paint and did that as well. It needed to be fade resistant and the sales person told me that they had a roll on sale and I liked the colour so I accepted the deal and paid the deposit. When the installer came I noticed right away that there were wide stripes in the carpet that looked to be lighter than the main carpet colour. I called right away and reached the lead installer. I sent a photo and he said, 'what am i looking at?'. The stripes are wide, about 3 inches each and the whole width of the carpet, kinda hard to miss. He said the salesman would come and inspect it. That was Monday. I have called, emailed and no one will respond. Now it's Thursday and I think that's it for service from Carpet Deals.ca. Please beware, it looks like I was duped.

For starters, Many was amazing at correspondence and messaged me even if his crew was going to be a few minutes late/early. His crew came in and did an impeccable job, the detailing of their work was so concise. There were minor finishes that needed to be done and we had Many's team complete that after the visitors had left. Once his team came back, not only that they completed the job as promised but they also touched up areas that were not even his responsibility. Got a fair price and arranged work to be done back in May....waited ...waited...and waited..work to be done this wee k July..then Mandip gave me his agreement...should have known! Mandip insisted 50% CASH up front with NO guarantee of start date OR end date in writing nor refund if date pushed out...NO written warranty, NO liability for any damage to our property NO required proof of WSIB for this workers..when asked to modify his agreement, he refused ....Wow. Shame Contractors like this still in business. If he has your money hold your breath until the work is done or before CRA or Ministry of Labour knocks on his door... potential huge penalties and legal liabilities ..that non refundable deposit will be useful for him...Good luck!
