Martin said its ok to vent into the attic aslong as its close to a vent.everything was done at the same time not weeks after. He could not get the countertop straight so he said to get someone in which he paid for. The bad employee was while he was still working here. As for micromanaging i was at work mon-fri 8:30-6 so barely seen them and aggressively pulling on the plumbing lol. And thats not what leaked. The skylight was discussed and to studs as i was the one talking with him not my mother whom i take care of. He said he will even put cedar to box in the skylight to make it nice. As i said we got the contract after i asked why the bathrooms are not gutted. And says i would do damage to a done bathroom?what a joke anyways beware. Make sure you get everything in writing before you let him start. There is way better companies out there.im sure you can tell by the pics that the work he did was subpar grout, caulking etc.

Kudos to Matt and his team at Painting Picasso…read more Every interaction with your company was positive, I was impressed that you.... * Incorporated and have liability insurance * Quoted the job with attention to detail and there was a contract * Provided a list of things that I needed to do before your arrival * Arrived on time * Did what you committed to do * Flexible: minor drywall repairs in the bathroom were not part of the quoted job. * Sought my input while you were working. * Completed the job within 1/2 hour of the estimated time. * Helpful: the heavy dressers and bed were moved (although I should have done it, and you positioned back in place, precisely where the holes were!) * Cleaned up after the job was done. * Removed your supplies/tools without scratching my doors and all garbage. * Charged me the contracted price. When I requested them to return to correct chipped paint, scuffs, and stains from the spray painting AND incorrectly installing back my drawers; I was responded with very dismissive and rude remarks. Do not go with this painting service, they will do a poor job, give you attitude if you ask for what you are entitled to as you paid for the job. They clearly don't care about returning customers, has poor business ethic, and will not do a good job. The owner literally told me "if I have to make 2 trips, I am probably not interested in any future business with you". Thank you Painting Picasso for a terrible experience and a lesson learned.

Excellent Roof Repair Service! Highly recommend!!!…read more After last winter's ice damming caused leaks in my kitchen, I contacted JP Lucky Construction based on a friend's recommendation. From the start, Wendy was quick to respond and set up a free consultation within two days. James inspected my roof and offered an honest, practical solution without pushing for unnecessary work. The repair was done promptly and professionally, and Wendy kept me updated throughout. I'm very happy with their service and would highly recommend them!

On September 3, 2022, I entered a contract with Wendy, representing JP Lucky, for the framing of a…read morecustom home in Stouffville. Throughout the construction process, Wendy frequently changed the contractors assigned to the project--ultimately involving four to five different teams. I was present on-site regularly and personally observed these changes. The subcontractors engaged by JP Lucky often delivered substandard work. Once deficiencies were identified, JP Lucky would dismiss the existing team and hire new subcontractors to continue. Although I fulfilled my obligations under the contract, JP Lucky failed to complete the project on time, and the work completed was defective. Due to these issues, I submitted a claim for adjudication through the Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts (ODACC), Case No. XXXX. On December 18, 2024, ODACC issued its Determination, providing copies to both the Respondent and me. The Determination ordered the Respondent to reimburse me $XXX,XXX (including HST) and $X,XXX (including HST), representing 50% of the adjudication fee. Despite my repeated demands, JP Lucky has failed to comply with the Determination or remit the required payment. While Wendy and JP Lucky initially present themselves as amicable and reliable, their conduct reveals a failure to act in good faith. Despite receiving payment for services, they have refused to return funds for work that was either unfinished or materially deficient, thereby disregarding the interests of their clients.
