I haven't had luck with most contractors in the past, almost all of them overcharge and do really bad quality work to the point of having to hire someone else to fix mistakes. Max not only charged fairly but went above and beyond what we agreed on and painted all the trims and baseboards for us free of charge in the end because it looked bad otherwise, even though initially we decided not to have him do it as we didn't want to pay extra when we were going to replace them in the future. He is extremely quick! And does a really great job. I'm really happy with Max and I honestly have such little trust with contractors after all the hell I've been through with them. Mike is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to the custom build projects, I had gotten my drawings and permit done by one of my engineers and there was a crucial element of a load bearing beam which left us with a lot of ambiguity. Mike came up with an alternative idea to install a steel beam which made the whole project easier. Mike was very upfront and explained every stage of the project very clearly, Very co-operative and punctual person. It was an expensive project and Mike came up with a great payment plan that I was comfortable with.
