Gus from Big Rapids Roofing came out and gave a much better price than other bids I got, plus his company uses the brand shingle and holds the certification I wanted. I was delayed until into December from starting by my chimney build, but as soon as my chimney was finished Big Rapids Roofing was able to start. They had to blow snow off the roof in order to work. Their crew did an excellent job, worked from daybreak on into dark. Their clean up was pristine. Because of the winter weather, their equipment left some tracks in the yard, and they made every effort to remedy this by sending a guy with several bags of dirt and grass seed to repair the yard. I didn't press for this, they did it because they were responsible.

I can't honestly rate the company's work, other than obviously they didn't want the job. I did message a person from the company twice and she was going to get with the project manager, who never got back with us. We have since gotten the work done and no longer need their services.
