After getting my truck home, I notice a clunking / metallic sound coming from the under carriage. I called Steve's and spoke with Jason who advised me to bring it back in, which I did after the weekend. They confirmed the noise after a test drive and determined that bolts were loose on the transmission mounting bracket. They rectified the problem without charge. It was a hassle free experience, except for the problem itself. How the bolts came to be loose, I don't know, but the issue was handled. I have been going to Steve's for my service needs and they are always courteous, professional, and honest.

***BUYER BEWARE*** This place was an absolute sham!! We were…read morelooking for a decent car for commuting and had been driving around all day checking out various cars and lots. We were sent to this lot in Oakdale by a sister location in Modesto. The cars at the sister lot seemed to be very nice, but we were looking for a smaller car. Found a Toyota Corolla that we liked, did a quick look over and a test drive. Seemed ok. I looked at the tires and noticed they looked to be almost bald, but the car seemed ok otherwise. The guy at the lot said they were fine and almost new. The Carfax showed two "minor" accidents, but they said title was clean and no frame damage. So we decided to go ahead with the purchase. They had the car listed quite a bit over blue book (photo included) and they did not apply our down payment to the sale price. We should have financed $1500 less than what they charged us. Didn't realize that until the next day. Here's where it begins-BUYETS REMORSE-The manager or owner of the lot stated they sell their cars at rock bottom prices and safety check each car they sell. BS Went to get in the car for work the next morning and it wouldn't start. Turned out the battery cables were barely on. Then we noticed the gaps and peeling paint on the front bumper. It was not aligned properly and has gaps under the headlights and the sides where it attaches to the fender. The fender wells are held in with various screws and bolts and not the clips that should hold it on. The front bumper is loose and rattling. The center piece right under the emblem is cracked and needs to be replaced. Took the car to my mechanic because the AC wasn't working and the car almost over heated. That cost me almost $400. The fan was not connected properly which caused the AC to not blow cold and over heated the car. Turns out nothing under the hood was connected right after it was "repaired" and "safety checked". Tire light came on the day after we bought it so I took it to Americas Tire to check my pressure on the tires-back two tires were completely bald and the front two were almost as bad so I had to replace all 4. That was almost $800. Whomever "fixed" the car didn't fix anything properly under the hood and the car place would have caught that had they TRULY safety inspected it. They did zero to that car except slap sale stickers on it. It wasn't even detailed. It was pretty dusty and windows were a mess. They were unwilling to negotiate on price, tires, nothing. This lot is shady at best and absolutely horrible. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went to see the car and the owner had said no test drives that day because of the weather. We set up an appointment to meet at 1030 the next morning. Showed up and waited 45 minutes and the guy never showed up. Called many times, no answer. Finally left a message and never got a call back. Called later that day and got another appointment (but no apology for ghosting us on the first appointment). He promised he would hold the car for us til our next appointment a few hours later. Prior to the next appointment he called and said he had let another customer look at the car in between and they stole the keys. He would call us back once they figured it out. He did call back and we bought the car. Mind you, we noticed some oil in a weird spot on the engine and asked about it. He promised his mechanic had looked at everything and that had just pooled there from when the engine got derailed. Said they would never sell a car with issues and touted their honesty. While buying the car, they couldn't take a card and didnt really know what a money order was so wouldnt take that, cash only. Didnt have plates on the car and couldn't give us a trip permit, so we had to illegally drive the car home if we wanted it. (Our desperation and stupidly trusting this guy because he was nice, of course we still wanted it) every time we asked about anything they just responded with "well it's a cheap car". Flash forward: we have had the car for 36 hours and it started gushing coolant. Needs a new radiator. So either they lied or their mechanic isnt a capable mechanic. Obviously our desperation and trusting what seemed like a nice guy led us to make a stupid decision in buying this car. But the entire experience was terrible and now we have a car we cant drive without dumping money into it. DO NOT recommend going here not trusting the nice guy persona. Save yourself the hassle.

Brad did call me once on June 9, 2025 to let me know he was processing the paperwork with DMV. Still no title to my car & going through the legal process with DMV to get title. Do not buy anything from Brad or his company.
