I was later provided with a second DBQ and completed all required steps, yet there was still no change in my rating. Throughout the process, there were noticeable delays and a lack of timely guidance, which impacted my confidence in the service being provided. Despite my full participation and compliance, the outcome did not reflect the level of support or expertise I expected. Over the years, I have invested approximately $9,000 into your services. After payment, communication dropped off and support was minimal with nothing but generic, form-filled emails. After spending thousands, my rating didn't change. A VA-accredited law firm later told me that the VA Appeals Board does not look favorably on cases "assisted" by REE. REE Medical is gaining a very negative reputation. I gave REE Medical 3200 dollars for a mental health DBQ and an arthritis DBQ and what it got me was nothing. I still had to go to all my VA C&P exams and their psychologist was so incompetent that they almost got me an unemplouable status with the VA because they made me look like I couldn't live independently and couldnt even take care of myself. Garbage like "The Veteran is employed but has challenges completing complex tasks". The VA almost made me unemployable, which, sure, would have got me 100% but I would have gone bankrupt and lost my house. Then when I complain, they take 0 accountability and just take my money like they provided competent service. They blatantly take advantage of veterans who are trying to get their disability percentages increased, because working with the VA is so taxing and time consuming, just wanting someone who knows how the system works would be able to do it better. They dont, they just want their money with no accountability to ever return it. This company, I am sure works for some, but any complex medical case, like mine, and I am sure, many others, just get abused and thrown away like the VA does. I have had several calls and emails over 9 weeks and not until I placed a hold on the 3rd and final payment of $1200 did someone reach out to ask me to contact them to arrange payment, not to discuss any of my emails or calls to their helpdesk. I have since cancel any continued service - which they have provided nothing to me whatsoever and asked for a refund of my $2400. I have not heard back from them. read more

I paid REE Medical $3,495 to help increase my VA disability rating, and the experience was deeply disappointing -- even borderline predatory. From the start, they came across extremely confident, telling me they could get my rating increased and even assured me that "they can't keep your money" if I wasn't satisfied. That made me feel like there was minimal risk. Unfortunately, that couldn't have been further from the truth. Throughout the process, I was confused with another client multiple times. I got phone calls and texts about disabilities I don't have -- including asthma and wrist issues. Twice, they called me and started discussing someone else's conditions as if they were mine. I corrected them both times, and they shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal. I also received messages saying my documents were still pending long after I had submitted them. These errors made it obvious that my case wasn't being handled carefully. In the end, my disability rating didn't change. When I asked for help or next steps, they referred me to an outside law firm that wanted to charge me more -- and that was the end of their involvement. They offered no refund and no accountability, despite the earlier verbal promise. To me, this feels like a business model built around exploiting vulnerable veterans who are just looking for help. REE Medical talks a big game up front, but once they get your money, the support drops off completely. I would strongly caution anyone considering them to look elsewhere -- especially if you're relying on them to advocate for your case the way a real representative or accredited VSO would. read more

Paid around $3,400 about a year ago and there was no increase in my rating. I decided to do it myself and went from 70% to 90%. In the age of Ai you are better off doing it yourself. The information is all out there for you for free. There's no refund if you get no increase in your rating. You're pretty much paying them $3,400 for something you can do yourself and the VA will give the C&P exam. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. read more

DON'T. USE. REE MEDICAL. Recommended by a colleague who had a great experience. I've been skeptical of similar companies and recommendations, but he was insistent and had experienced great interaction and outcome. So I committed. At first, the intake coordinator was great. Then came time to connect with the Navigator. Scheduled a meeting, took a day of leave from work. Crickets. No calls returned, no emails answered. After a week of no contact from the navigator after multiple texts, emails, and calls (all go to voicemail), I called the intake coordinator to ask for guidance and was essentially told "not my problem, maybe a supervisor will contact you." Not a good answer. More calls & emails to REE. Crickets. Contacted my credit card company to report potential fraud and company failure to provide services. They initiated their fraud/fund recovery process and go figure, REE started reaching out. At 0300 and 0400 in the morning. My credit card company was told by REE Medical "they don't provide medical or legal services" which is true. When I explained to my agent they were supposed assist with navigating the VA process, the agent agreed their response was specious verbal gymnastics. It was summed up more creatively in two words, containing the letters B&S. Then the emails from REE started again, and as before, a (new) unresponsive navigator. They couldn't - more likely wouldn't - schedule a simple call. Which if REE Medical was legit, and was serious about helping ALL Veterans, they'd be able to do at least that. In spite of the positive experience my colleague had, I was done. Finally and please forgive me for gobbing on, and not being succinct, where I really feel it is a predatory organization....they sent me an ACH form to sign to get my 3K refund, and required me to send a voided check to them. Warning right here. The ACH form they want you to sign authorizes REE Medical to access your accounts to deposit AND WITHDRAW funds. DON'T SIGN THE FORM. I told them I'd appreciate a refund my credit card on file. Then I got an encrypted email from a person that was never in the process, with a link to click for a "refund" action. Deleted the email and reported to a friend in the FBI. I'll cut and paste this review to the Better Business Bureau site too. Bottom line, do not recommend, and please see a Veterans Service Organization to help you. I did, and they've been awesome advisors. For REE Medical, please don't reply to my post with the standard "we're sorry for your experience and we take our mission seriously blah blah blah." Shame on you. Ree gave me the spill about being aligned with receiving a significant VA rating increase. After completing the necessary documentation and seeing their medical specialist, my claim was denied! I was advised by the case manager at Ree to appeal the decision. In short, i paid for a service without being compensated. I saw an advertisement from REE Medical ion Google which showed they could help increase my VA benefits. I was at 50% then and they thought they could assist with getting it up to 70%. If that was successful, it would give me an additional $800 or so in my benefits, so I decided to give them a try. I provided all the information they asked and Heidi Kalis was assigned to assist me. I received an appointment with their Doctor and went over everything. After everything was done I paid an additional fee to expedite the paperwork. After a few weeks I received all the documentation to file with the VA with instructions on how to do it. I filed everything and sat back to wait for additional appointments with the VA etc. The other day I received the decision package from the VA. I did not get the 70% we were looking for but everything was approved which put me at 90%. That has increased my monthly payment considerably more that what they estimated. I cannot thank Heidi and team for what they did. I have been fighting the VA since 1996 and finally got something done. Great job folks. read more

This was my second time using ReeMedical to improve my VA rating. The first time they were fantastic and I had zero issues getting my deserved rating. Over the next couple years they sent me several emails assuring me they could open new VA cases and improve my current rating. After a couple of years several more medical complications, related to my time in the service started to get worse. I contacted ReeMedical and said they'd have no problems improving my rating again. I paid $2500 upfront and after several months into the process, I was denied on all of my new VA medical filings (sleep apnea, rhinitis, hearing, prostate cancer). ReeMedical apologized and told me they couldn't do much else on their part and wished me luck. Now I've hired a lawyer to try to overturn the recent denials when ReeMedical just gave up at the first denials. I will admit ReeMedical will work a little harder than local city VA Rep would. read more

After several weeks, I reached out because I have not been contacted for appointments. No reply. Attempted to make contact with REE Medical through another email and was told the first person would follow up with me. Nothing. REE Medical took my money and ran. I strongly regret working with REE Medical. We were assured during the enrollment process that if the documentation they provided (DBQs) did not help support a rating increase with the VA, we would be eligible for a refund. This promise was a major reason we moved forward and paid upfront. After working with REE, we received documents that did not result in the rating increase we were seeking -- even though they claimed the veteran's symptoms aligned with the criteria. When we requested a refund, REE backtracked and pointed to fine print in their service agreement, completely ignoring the verbal assurances given by their representative during enrollment. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent -- we were reassigned navigators with no real transition, and responses felt generic and unhelpful. The experience caused emotional stress and financial strain on our family with zero accountability from the company. If you're a veteran or family member considering REE Medical, please be cautious. Ask for all verbal promises in writing. In our case, they failed to deliver what was promised, and then refused to make it right. read more

I've contacted and worked with a few companies that are a pay to help with your VA Claim. This is the only company that wants you to pay up front. This should of been a red flag to not use them. All others will only ask for payment if your disability increases with the claim. My problem is the intake process was horrendous. They are not knowledgeable on looking at your current disability rating and your blue button VA medical records they request. I contacted them a year ago to increase my claim, but was told they usually just work with existing disabilities to increase and not new disability claims. I was then told that they just started to do new disability claims, but when I asked about the PACT Act, I was asked what was that. The only thing they wanted to do was increase two of my current disabilities, which I was already told by numerous people that increasing those would not get me to 100%. So, I went with another company and was increased from 70% to 90% with some disabilities that were 0% Now back to my recent working with them. After receiving my 90% rating with some at 0%, I decided to give them a try since I was intrigued with them submitting their own DBQs with medical professionals and now it would be with my existing claims. Let's just start off that my main complaint is their intake process. All companies have a type of intake process that looks at your current disability rating with breakdowns of all of them, your VA online medical records and your last claim letters. My second complaint was their DBQ process. You will receive an automated email to complete the DBQs for these conditions. I've done this for other company's but they were short questionnaires. These online forms were basically you writing the whole DBQ, which would of taken hours upon hours. Were they thorough? Sure, but usually most of them should have been completed by the medical professional and not you. In the end, it seemed like you are writing the whole DBQ(s) and the medical professional will just sign them. If you are into paying some company for claims, but write your own DBQs then this if for you. I expected more for the money I paid up front. In the end, the problems were the intake process and not being knowledgeable. The proof was after the intake process, I received an email to complete two DBQs on two of my disabilities. The problem was that the two disabilities that they were requesting for me to fill out were the original two when I contacted them a year before and nothing was asked to complete DBQs on any of the six new disabilities from my latest claim. My first thought was why did they ask for all my updated information if they were not going to actually look at it. I had to contact them and ask them about what happened with my six new disabilities and the DBQs. I had to walk them through again with my new disabilities then finally I received a new automated email that asked for me to complete DBQs for my new ones. But, by this time it was too late. I was tired of completing my own process, while paying for it. I did get a partial refund that took two months or more to complete. They wanted to charge me for sending the new DBQs questionnaires that I was the one who had to request them. I had to file a claim with my bank to dispute the charge to get my full refund. In the end to all my Veteran's, there are other companies out there that are more helpful and will only request payment if they increase your rating. Paying upfront is a red flag. Communication was also not the best, as you will always get passed around like a hot potato. Please save yourself the stress and aguish and find another company to help you with your claim. Good luck and FYI... I am at 100% from another extremely reputable company. read more

On May 30, 2025, I signed a contract and paid $2,695 in full to REE Medical for services. Mind you, the communication was on point with the rep Sophia -from the day I called to inquire, to the day I signed up. She was very helpful & friendly -some days texting me multiple time a day to check in. ONCE I paid for service I felt non-existent to the company, completely ignored, which as such a drastic shift in the quality of customer service I received prior to paying. I scheduled my initial appointment on June 2nd, and had my first meeting with a representative on June 10th, during which I submitted required documents and requested additional information about the next steps. Between June 10th and June 13th, I made several attempts to follow up via text, phone, and email with additional questions. All of these inquiries were ignored and left unanswered. Out of growing concern over the lack of communication and support, I formally requested a full refund on June 13th. On that same day, I received a reply stating that my documents had been "acknowledged and were under review," or I could choose to proceed with a refund. I chose the refund. However, I was later informed that a percentage would be deducted from my total payment due to "services rendered," which included nothing more than a brief phone conversation and collecting my documents. There is no clause in the signed contract that permits the company to withhold any portion of the payment in the event of a cancellation or refund request. As such, the attempt to deduct funds is not only unjustified but also misleading and deceptive in nature. I have not received the service I paid for, and my repeated efforts to clarify and move forward were completely ignored until I escalated the matter. I do NOT recommend REE Medical. read more

You're a company my wife never agreed to work with calling and trying to get us to sign a contract with you and collect thousands of dollars. We were referred by a friend to VetLink solutions, a company you apparently bought out or merged with. At this time we had no idea what the difference between companies such as yourself, the VA, or VSO's were. Had no idea that VetLink and organizations alike were getting cease and desist letters for predatory practices. We certainly didn't sign any contract or any agreement to move the contract to a new company. Now you've called us 3 times today threatening us with massive attitudes. Your original representative explained months ago why we now had to pay you terribly, he made no sense, I brought up the cease and desist letter issued to VetLink and he is like well we aren't VetLink I'm going to email the contract to you, sign it if you want. Never heard from you guys until today. Now the attitudes changed and you punks are calling MY WIFE with an attitude and threats. I really need an explanation on how I'm legally obligated to you now. Your supervisor who ended up being the 3rd phone call also just threatened the original amount "agreed" with VetLink solutions being sent to collections. I'm just completely dumbfounded and haven't felt this disrespected in years. You better believe I had a massive attitude myself speaking to your representatives. No one calls my family or I and speaks to us in this manner. My wife and I are both disabled vets with much of it being for mental. This type of behavior and lack professionalism by your organization has caused a great deal of distress to us, she's balled up crying in her room and my blood pressures so high, my ears are burning, and I want to scream at you. @Ruthie and the entire REE Medical staff were absolutely amazing! The timeline from when I paid until I received my completed DBQ's (with detailed upload instructions) was around 5 months 2 weeks. The VA took around four months to get me my decision. The entire process was roughly 9 months 2 weeks long. I'm very fortunate to receive an increase in my Disability Rating!! They're well worth the price tag for the assistance. It takes REE Medical a little too long to get your DBQ(s) back but, you can not argue with their results!! The REE Medical staff were to assist me every step of the way. Not one time I felt as if I was just a "customer." I felt supported by them and felt like they're actually there to help Veterans get the disability claim that they need and deserve. read more

They are very aggressive to get you to buy their services but as soon as you pay up, the communication becomes very slow and far between. It took many months to get a doctors appointment and then a few more months to get the documents to send to the VA. My claim was denied by the VA and then when I contacted REE, no one is ever available. read more

First screening phone call the guy was proud to announce that I should easily be able to achieve a 70% disability rating. So I agreed to the terms and made an online payment of $3,000. I did their surveys, spoke to their doctors, got my Nexus in a shady side of town. Long story short the VA declined my back issues as not service connected (the documentation and Nexus could have been way better, stronger case) and the end result is I now get 10% for a whopping $150 a month. I emailed REE back and no response at all. I wish I would have looked more into the reviews like this one and chose a better service provider. read more
