USE THIS COMPANY. I did not, but should have. I hired Company X to do a basic concrete overlay in August, 2025. They were supposed to arrive at 7 AM, arrived at around 5, and I suspect the workers needed to get home so they could be on their other big job at 7. Their final product was a disaster, uneven with all sorts of dips and ridges. I worked construction many decades ago as summer jobs, and never saw a crew leave a pour without meticulous hand-troweling. I couldn't believe it. I needed a consultant on my side. I called Red Rhino, and got a callback from Mike the owner. I asked him if I could hire him to come and give me his assessment. He said he would be glad to stop by and take a look. He pronounced it totally unacceptable, and said it was the worst overlay he had ever seen. MORE IMPORTANTLY, he gave me the information and confidence to deal with Company X, who had not yet been paid. He explained to me that: 1. They owed me a repair; 2. The only two possible repairs were either a complete demolition, removal, and re-do, OR bringing in a commercial sanding machine to flatten the surface, and then put down a new flake coat and epoxy; 3. The second described fix (which is worth several thousand dollars above the basic overlay I contracted for), was the easiest and less time-consuming for X. I mentioned that to Mike, and he said "They owe you a fix. I predict this is what they will and should do." [not an exact quote, this was over a month ago] END OF STORY - I met with X, and also representatives of WhiteCap, who had supplied the Ardex product X used. I told them exactly what Mike told me, and the repairs Mike said were needed. I GOT ONE OF THOSE ATTRACTIVE FLAKE COAT SURFACES FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! BTW- Mike absolutely refused to take any money for coming to my home and giving me his expert opinion. What integrity. What generosity and kindness to a lay homeowner having trouble. This man will never disappoint you. He knows his business. I am certain his quote would be fair. Don't even bother to get other bids. Note: Apparently, X thought they were applying a self-leveling Ardex product, but may have been given the wrong product. Ardex makes many different products. X acted w integrity. read more

First dealt with Steve everything was smooth and easy until 6-8 months later the floor starting to crack and bubbling up. So I tired calling and no one ever picks up the phone and when someone picks up the phone I get the run around that someone will call me back and no one ever call back. I waited for over a week and called again finally got a hold of person name Mike then Mike and I started playing phone tag and nothing gets done. Long story short... Customer service is not there after the job is done, REDRHINO doesn't stay behind their workmanship and products, and I'm left with cracked and bubbling floors. read more

We could not be more pleased by the work RedRhino did at our loft! They were not the cheapest we quoted, but definitely delivered the highest quality product and service. They were helpful in explaining the options and even came out to our place to pour a couple samples. We wanted gloss white floors and they advised a UV coating that would protect the floors from yellowing after being exposed to light. Sure enough, after just a couple weeks, the sample without the coating started to look ivory! No one else we quoted mentioned this!! They were flexible with our schedule when we had to push back the start date. They also completed the job in the five days quoted. These guys are passionate about epoxy- staying up to date with the latest technologies and techniques. We are in love with our white epoxy floors! Would highly recommend! read more

This review has been a long time coming. We hired Red Rhino to do the floors of our new dog care facility and every aspect of the finished product has been a nightmare. Firstly, we ordered a smooth coat epoxy floor, confirmed on a signed contract and instead received a rough floor finish, being told by Michael that be thought this was a better option and what he has seen in vet offices. I have never seen a rough sidewalk consistency in any vet office. This was two days before we had to pass our final inspections to open and had to have him redo the entire job. With that, we lost a day of final work and had to enter the facility before the floors were fully dry, to which permanent set in marks occurred, in addition to the hair and dirt they had already sealed into the floor. We did not have time to have him redo the floors in the grooming room, to which we now have a floor in a high dirt high traffic area that is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. We have to literally scuba it on our hands and knees every night to remove the dirt. We asked to have our logo installed at the entry and showed him the exact specs provided by the graphic company, who specified the type of finish that would have to be used. He ignored that. See attached photo of what our logo AT ENTRANCE looks like now. Every aspect of our floors is a chop job. We've informed Michael that we will be taking taking him to court to recoup costs as we are now finally in a place where we can have the floors redone. We will be going out of pocket to redo the floors and lose 3 days of income having to close. Stay away from this company. Massive waste of money and time! read more

I have worked with REDRHINO on a previous occasion and felt comfortable awarding them the job I am reviewing here. The job was small in scope, but extremely complex. We had an area of 650 square feet, with 170 square feet requiring 3/4" of concrete shaved down for the installation of tile. The remaining area would be polished an blend in seamlessly with the tile. As the job site is just minutes from my office, I swung by on more than one occasion to see how things were going. Each time, the REDRHINO was hard at it and were able to share the progress of the job and the steps remaining. The job was done on time, with the 170 square feet completely taken down by a depth of 3/4", with the remaining area receiving polished concrete. The is well done. I would confidently recommend REDRHINO to anyone in search of their services. In total they assisted with polishing my 7,000 sq ft retail space and 650 sq ft coffee shop. read more

Do not use Redrhino. I gave Michael my 1500 deposit and then we had to push back our appointment do to some personal issues. After a month, we were ready to have him epoxy our garage but I could not get a return phone call. I went to his warehouse to make sure he was still in business and saw one of his trucks. I called the number on the side and he answered. As always he is very nice on the phone and he gave me a bunch of excuses about employee issues and said he wanted to still do the job. I decided I would rather just have my deposit back which he said was fine. Now after 6 weeks and repeated ignored requests I can only assume he plans to just keep my money without doing a second of work. Stay far away from this company!!! read more

Had them do the floors on 2 commercial buildings with their epoxy coating. Floors look great, pricing was fair. I would recommend. I'll also add that the guys on the crew who did the actual work were a nice group of guys. One other important point, they were always on time. read more

Had my four car garage done by Red Rhino...Michael did a great job on selling me on their product saying it was far better than any other competitive product, also said it was industrial strength and would not damage easy....but once the job was done and I had issues...no one responded. Flooring is actually not better than any other product, actually shows dust and dirt worst, is easily damaged and/or scratched, and faded very badly in the sun and overall. I will never use this company and/or product again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone!!! read more

My flooring in our USDA facility did not turn out as promised and the local rep nor the parent company will return calls. I have sent pictures in on numerous occasions and sent emails. The floor cracked and they sealed it with out cleaning it so now I have a big dirty streak across the entire plant. They didnt rope it off well anough and now we have foot dirty foot prints on the floor. We were also told the floor would be done in a week.. They held us up over a month. They laid down bad product that bubbled. read more

From start to finish these guys went above and beyond. They were the first epoxy company out of about 9 I had called to do my 950 sf commercial kitchen with about 90 ft of coving around the perimeter of the production room. Mike (the owner) came over with his manager and met me at my space--both were very nice and professional. He gave me a quote which at first I thought was kind of high- I really had no idea what to expect- but they were literally ready to get started the next day. Of course I held off to see if I could find a better deal. 8 different companies later and countless annoying phone calls, no one could come close to their price, warranty, or their ability to do the job quickly. No one else has a portfolio of work like them either, which was comforting. They told me they'd be finished in 2 days, which I was skeptical of at first. Many of the other guys were saying 4 or 5 days, which I just couldn't afford to wait. Anyways, I went forward with these guys and I am VERY happy with the results. Not only is the floor nearly flawless and beautiful, the experience couldn't have been more pleasant. They came in on a Wednesday afternoon and were out by Thursday night. Not even a day and a half!! All the while I was getting updates by the manager who made sure there was no mistakes and that I was happy. There was one point my neighbors in the building were complaining about the noise, and I asked the manager how much longer was it going to be loud (they were using sanding machines)-- he ended up sending 4 more guys with sanders to expedite the process and finished that portion of the job in 1/3 of the time.
