She was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and made sure she included special plant requests into our plan. I especially appreciated that she is an advocate for plants that are native to our area. She also educated us on how we could easily add a rain garden to another area of our yard. She even accompanied me to the garden center to help shop for the right planters to frame up our front door. She can do as little or as much as you'd like for your landscaping projects -- from providing a plan to serving as the project manager, buyer and/or planter to implementing the entire plan from start to finish. I highly recommend her!

She offered to make them for us, dropped them off, maintained them, and we received many compliments all year long! We are so grateful for everything that Cary has done for us and recommend her to anyone!

Five year update: There is not a day gors by that we don't love the view of our landscaped yard…read more As requested, Trio installed native plants that attract birds, since my hobby is photographing birds. But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. That sounds dumb, but seeing the seasons change in my yard is life affirming. Thanks, Diana. Larry and Helen

I called Trio Landscaping last fall to discuss a landscaping project we needed for our backyard…read more This is a duplex that hasn't had much loving care to the landscape due to it being a rental property. Now that my husband and I, the owners, moved in, we wanted a space that felt "finished", cozy and a place where we would like to hang out. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! It has transformed the way we spend time in the back yard - hanging out with friends, grilling and just reading and relaxing. I now have a backyard I am proud to show off. The Trio Landscaping team are all top notch professionals! Thank you, Trio Landscaping!

They don't have as much stock but in general their staff are reasonably well Informed. Sunnyside Gardens is a nice compromise in size. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and their staff are accessible and seem knowledgeable. They are easy to reach and there is lots of nearby parking. I highly recommend.

For example, we bought a bunch of hydrangeas and a staff member helped us think through which variant would be best in specific locations in our yard.
