The amount of times I've passed this place is ridiculous. The outside has an inviting vibe from the…read morevibrant colors of the business name. With that being said, I finally made a visit here Sunday late afternoon on a whim. I started outside before heading inside to see all the other plants and things. Quite the selection inside and outside. I purchased my first hanging basket ever. I'm such a flower person and the hanging basket I got was so pretty. Inside has many different things from bird feeders to nick knacks to pots and candles and many different types of plants. It's well set up and I witnessed staff answering customers questions and offering their assistance. Cost wise I would say everything is fairly priced and some of the plants are so unique that it's a given you need to pay for something like that. Staff I engaged with were nice. Parking is street parking but there's plenty so not stressful. When it's time for me to look for a plant, I'll have to come back.

Then, I asked what type of soil, and they looked up the plant in a database and and gave me a suggestion. I ended up getting my pots, soil, and a new plant (because of course) and they walked me to my car to help me carry everything even though it was cold out. Amazing service, great selection, and a gem of a small business!

It is at a busier cross section so be sure to watch before you cross! I wanted to make a pit stop to check out Mother Earth Gardens, what started as a quick stop, has me excited to come back again when I have more time! I wasn't expecting the community collaboration that showcased local vendors and information about them which I loved dearly. The plants were placed in a manner that was fun to browse and find, and the pricing was fair. What made me really see this place stand out was the service I received from start to finish. I was warmly greeted, the door was opened for me and I was asked right away if there was anything I needed help with. In addition, they included that any question is welcomed and not to be afraid to ask. No matter if you're a beginner or an expert in the plant community, there's so much to learn and feeling the welcoming environment made it so much more enjoyable to browse and shop. If you're thinking of stopping in, I would recommend it!

When about February and they have very limited plant and very limited parts. The store was tiny and they have very small desk size plant inside nothing very big like a house plant. Cute little store for a Neighbourhood stroll away from the home to go and gaze up plants. They're so clean and it was organized inside. However, some other plants are a bit pricey because they're a very small sore.. They have a good amount of different parts outside. I think the summer with the warm weather coming up, they would have more yard decorations on display outside plus more plants.

Five year update: There is not a day gors by that we don't love the view of our landscaped yard…read more As requested, Trio installed native plants that attract birds, since my hobby is photographing birds. But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. That sounds dumb, but seeing the seasons change in my yard is life affirming. Thanks, Diana. Larry and Helen

I called Trio Landscaping last fall to discuss a landscaping project we needed for our backyard…read more This is a duplex that hasn't had much loving care to the landscape due to it being a rental property. Now that my husband and I, the owners, moved in, we wanted a space that felt "finished", cozy and a place where we would like to hang out. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! It has transformed the way we spend time in the back yard - hanging out with friends, grilling and just reading and relaxing. I now have a backyard I am proud to show off. The Trio Landscaping team are all top notch professionals! Thank you, Trio Landscaping!
