On Aug 4 I contacted Mike @ his cell number that was given to me by my daughter who had him do some…read morework at her place of employment. Her and I have had several jobs done by Michael @ Patriot Plumbing in the past. I asked her for the number to Michael, thinking it was Michael @ Patriot Plumbing. In her phone directory she had Mike and Michael. The first one that came up was Mike. I needed cast iron drain replaced that had been previously replaced by the homes previous owner and bypassed with PVC outside of the wall. One of Mike's professed plumbers showed up with a rookie helper that knew virtually nothing about plumbing to do the job. The plumbing to be replaced was in the crawl space under the house. Neither plumber or helper ever wore shoe covers to walk in and out carrying tools and equipment to the crawl space to do the job. One of the things needed to do the job was PVC for the drain. Rather than measure and cut the PVC on the back patio where they had all of their equipment, the helper was told to take the 8/10 foot piece of drain PVC through the house to a hallway leading to the entrance to the crawl space, there to be cut as need with a saw, leaving the PVC dust on the floor. When the new PVC drain was finally re-routed inside the inside wall it was protruding 3/4 inch outside the wall studs, which he estimated to be only 1/4 inch at the time that would not interfere with the sheetrock. The reason it stuck out was that the angled fittings were not aligned before they were glued. I told him that was OK at the time so I could get him and his helper out of the house and I could fix that mess. He said he leak-checked it but he never turned the water back on until he was headed to the unmarked truck when he said he would turn the water back on. I replaced the sheetrock by placing 3/4 inch furring strips on all the studs on that wall. After the wall was finished we moved the washer and dryer back into the utility room to hook them up only then did we discover that the washer access panel for the water and drain hose were not installed properly in that they did not cut out the plug for the drain hose to fit into the drain. We managed to cut out the hole that was supposed to be done before installation according to installation instructions for that cheap access panel. When the cost of $1970.00 was above my daily limit for my debit card I called Mike and told him I could not pay with my debit card, I would have to wright a check. He said he was on the road and would meet me at the DQ and asked me what vehicle I would be driving. I wrote the check for $2000.00 even cause I am 83 years old and don't want to figure out how to get that many words on the amount line. I made the check to the plumbing company that I thought I was dealing with because of the wrong phone number I was given up front and both were run by Mike and Michael. When I arrived at the DQ a man walked up to the truck and said hi. I said who are you, I don't know you. He said he was Mike from the plumbing company. I had made out the check to the plumber I thought I was dealing with and he said that was not his company. I told him I would make out another check and he said to leave the pay to part of the check blank. I am still waiting for my bank statement to see who it was payed to. After that day my e-mail started receiving requests for payment from My Plumbing Company a project of All My Services a Private Membership/Ministry Association for Invoice#001135 for $1970.00 that was considered a donation. It is now 17 days after that check was written and I called Mike back and asked about the e-mails and he said something to the effect of he forgot to mark that paid. Dealing with this outfit has been a nightmare that I am just glad to put behind me. Do not recommend ever using this plumbing company or what ever it is to do anything.

Upon arrival we mentioned what the problem was (broken outside water faucet valve) and he proceeded to check out the faucet. He went back to his truck and brought out the proper tools (2 channel lock pliers) only to find out he needed "the big guns." He brought a pipe wrench and immediately removed the leaky faucet and replaced with a proper one. We learned about the backflow preventer value and its history from Darren. He had that faucet repaired within 30 minutes. That was yesterday. Today he returned to replace our irrigation system supply line that had busted during last year's freezer. He cut out the old plumbing and replaced with a new one. He was very quick and pleasant to talk to. I told, just go ahead and use a chrome one then, just do what you need to do to fix the sink drain. He installed the drain. It seemed to operate okay, but after few days I noticed that the rod, used to raise and lower the drain plug, flopped all over the place, but it worked so I went ahead and used it. Then it finally stopped raising & lowering the drain plug. I'm an old man, I tried to fix it myself, but I ended up calling a different plumber. I have used Duey Plumbing for many years and never got service like this.

The owner, Mr Crawford, has over 40 years of experience, he's very professional, and he's happy to explain their findings and their recommendations. Their prices are also fair, and they do excellent work. He and his crew are also just really nice, warm people. With a good plumber from a different, one-plumber company that I used to use, he couldn't help me anymore with most typical plumbing tasks, due to not being able to get low to the ground (from knee surgeries). So another great thing about Crawford Plumbing is that they have enough pros on their crew that this is unlikely to ever be an issue. I do real estate and have used them multiple times for all kinds of services... They roughed in drain and water supply lines for the kitchen and bathroom sinks, installed new faucets and the dishwasher, replaced TEN shut-off valves, and they ran a drain line and water supply for a dishwasher. After a foundation repair, they did a static pressure test (leak test) to verify if any pipes had broken from the foundation repair, and they ran a camera scope to inspect exactly where any break might be. They're also about to create a proper cleanout in the yard of an older home. I'm sure they are fully capable of doing absolutely any plumbing task! They go above and beyond with their customer service... As an example, after a DIFFERENT plumbing company did an incorrect leak test, Mr Crawford, one of his crew, PLUS another van of his plumbing crew took time out of their day at no charge, to come to the house to meet that other plumber to find out how they did their test; he basically showed the other plumbing company how they couldn't possibly have done their test correctly, that the other company essentially lied about the test results. But he was also very nice about it. He eliminated any nervousness I had about that meeting, since he did all the communicating on my behalf and spoke the other plumber's language. I called this company and got an estimate of $200 to replace two outside facuets, one was beyond…read morerepair, the other turned out to need a washer. So when the guy came he did the work and replaced one facuet. He then wrote a bill out for $165.00. I asked him how could that be? They had told me on the phone $200 for both facuets. He saids well I do the estimates and I must have said $165 each. This guy then charged me another 4% because I used a debit card to pay him which increased the cost another $6.60 to $171.60. Now I called a lot of plumbers, and the nearest any plumber came to his original estimate was $155 for both facuets if no problems. He tried to convince me that he quoated me $165, and that I mixed him up with someone else. He is wrong, I know what he quoated I even wrote it down along with other quotes. He is a nice guy, but I won't do business with him again, because I feel he is dishonest.I only chose him to do the work because he could do it quicker than others. I would never had chosen him if he had told me $165 per facuet.

As I stated in previous review. No vents were put in my kitchen after the wall was taken down. Jeremy Haggerty of Centex Rootdown Plumbing has refused three times to come out. I have smelled methane gas for two years now. No more chances. Further action will be done through proper channels. Please if you want an honest company call someone else. Oh and I may not have a receipt for the incomplete job, but I do have plenty of witnesses.
