Before repair - Queen bed
Dawn C.

I must say that Bill, the owner of Redline Restoration, is truly a top notch talented man. He can work serious magic on damaged furniture. My Rottweiler puppy snuck into my guest room and chewed on the corner of the foot-board of my beautiful guest bed, creating some serious damage. I thought this beautiful bed was lost, until I contacted Bill and sent him photos. Not only was Bill able to fix the damage, but you would never know there had been any damage if I hadn't taken the "before" pictures as evidence. Bill is an extremely knowledgeable and talented person. I'm so thankful he was able to fit us into his schedule before our upcoming move to Washington state. I highly recommend him for any repair/restoration to either modern or antique wood furniture. He's also very professional and just a nice guy.

Lamp table "after"

Bill and Christian are amazing artisans! Redline Restoration has now resurrected five pieces of either treasured family or scavenged thrift store furniture for us. They couldn't be nicer to work with, and they somehow manage to bring the life and usefulness back to seemingly hopeless furniture. Be sure to call or email Bill regarding your project rather than just showing up at the shop. They have done the following for us: ~Refinished a rough old oak dining table that we cut down and turned into an awesome coffee table. ~Refinished just the top of an Ethan Allen cherry bedroom dresser that we found on Craigslist. Only the top was damaged with scratches and water stains and Bill was able to refinish only the top, matching the color and finish perfectly to the rest of the dresser. ~Refinished a mid-century modern teak extension dining table found for a steal at a thrift store. We chose to take it back to its original tung-oil finish rather than finish it with polyurethane. Bill gave us care instructions which will require periodic maintenance by us with tung oil. ~Stripped and refinished an ugly painted family lamp table which we thought was a lost cause. Bill was willing to strip a small area to see what was hiding underneath before we committed to refinishing the table. Turns out it is a beauty so it was well worth reviving. See photos... ~Stripped and refinished a mid-century modern thrift store oak side table and perfectly matched the color to another table. This was really an amazing transformation from stained, scratched, water-damaged and extremely worn with a corner that was crushed to a beautiful piece of furniture. I think Bill was even amazed at how great this one turned out. See photos... Thanks, Redline Restoration!!!

My grandmother's sewing machine beautifully restored: Wheeler and Wilson, Bridgeport Connecticut dated 1883.

The work done exceeded my expectations! My grandmother's sewing machine from 1883 looks beautiful! This family heirloom will be cherished for generations. Thank you for the care and expertise that went in to restoring this! I didn't think it was possible to bring it back to life, but you did it!

before... water stained and very tired looking

Bill Redline took my antique oak table that had been poorly refinished and made it a wonderful addition to our home.

This review is for the great experience I had when I called Tony's Toolbox to request an…read moreappointment for an estmate. I need to fix a ceiling leak and determine why it is there! I feel that you can tell a lot about a company by talking to the person who answers the phone. Amber quickly inspired confidence in my choice of choosing this company to contact. She answered the phone immediately, was professional and listened to me carefully. She set up an appointment when Tony could visit. And she explained Tony would text me the day of the appointment with the window of time he would be arriving. Love organized and efficient. As per his word, Tony texted me and gave me a 4 to 5:00 p.m. window and showed up on time. For the next hour Tony evaluated the situation by getting a very close look at the problem area. He then went up into the attic for a closer inspection. When he came back he had pictures on his phone and explained what was going on. As it turns out there is an open area in the roof where rain water can get in. This likely created the spot that has now formed. He said it was fixable and would send me an estimate via email. If I agreed with the estimate, I would be added to his schedule. (Luckily this is a very slow leak and the ceiling spot is small.) Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with choosing him out of many other people. The estimate was received the next morning! I absolutely felt it was fair and reasonable. He is a popular guy. I have a month's wait. As an aside: My neighbor was present during Tony's visit. He was so impressed with Tony that he asked for his business card. I love supporting a local, independent, and family-owned business. Thanks, Tony and Amber. See you soon.

The open area was in an obscure spot; he had to creatively think of a solution, which he did. He replaced the light bulb in the ceiling fixture. I contacted him on Thursday and he was here on Monday. Thank you, Tony!! (and Amber, his wife for setting up the appointment)
