Question: I have previously sent an e-mail to you concerning my Kingpin8ball. Well the situation…read morestill has not been resolved as to the replacement of the rear pulley. Ray's in Sumter said they ordered it over 3 weeks ago and till now it has not come in (so they say). Terry the service Mgr said it was on back order which I found out not to be true. After calling them many times Terry said that Polaris did not ship it but it is going out today the 4/8/09. I am not sure what is the main problem with this company but they are definitely of my list for service and I will post it on the forums of many sites not to deal with this dealership. It is the real pulley Black which they keep telling me it is out of stock, other dealers check and it is in stock. I am becoming very upset and may go back to Suzuki which I had for many years and never had such a problem for service This is just information regarding my 2008 kingpin 8ball. Ever since I have had it it makes a squeal noise in the pulley and or belt in the rear. A dealer Rochester power sports in NH went to Polaris and Finlay got an answer and authorization to replace the rear pulley and they called me in the middle of March this year and I have since moved to SC, so I contacted Rays in Sumter SC went there and thought I got it all okd to transfer the repair to here. Have waited for 3 weeks and thought it had been ordered and to find out they tell me it has not and my work order was not on file so I asked them if they could order the part. Well it was on back order only to find out it is in stock and now they said I would have to leave my bike there till the part comes in and the work is completed, nope, then they said I would have to pay $350.00 up front so they could order the part. I am not very happy with this dealer and noted it to your customer service Friday and all I got from there was to work it out with the dealer still not satisfied. I have owned many vehicles in my 61 years and have never had to leave the car/truck or pay for a part to be ordered. This is just information for you about this dealership. Will never go there again and will find another dealer to deal with.
