One summer, our AC went out, and although it took about three days to fully repair, they immediately provided us with a window AC unit so we could stay comfortable while we waited. We also had an issue with cockroaches at one point, and management responded very quickly. They contacted an exterminator who treated and injected inside the walls, which we really appreciated because it helped address the problem while keeping our pets safe. The staff is another huge reason we had such a positive experience. Carol, the manager, is very professional, helpful, and truly works to make your experience living there a good one. Angelie in the front office is seriously the sweetest! She was always kind, welcoming, and willing to help whenever we needed something. I also really appreciated that the complex communicates important information through text messages. That was so convenient because checking my email isn't always my first priority, and it made it much easier to stay updated. The pool is always maintained and ready to swim, which was another big plus! ‍ The only downside I can really think of is parking. If your household has more than one vehicle, finding a spot for the second car can sometimes be difficult. However, that was a relatively small issue compared to our overall experience. After 7 years, we can genuinely say that we loved our time at Country Hills Apartments. The only reason we're moving is because I recently got a new job and wanted to live closer to work. You're better off fixing things yourself or just living with the problem. Noise is another major issue -- the walls are paper thin. You'll hear every word your neighbors say, every dog bark, and every footstep above you. If you value sleep or privacy, this is not the place for you. The rent is ridiculously high for what you get. They tack on hidden fees and raise the rent with zero justification. And good luck getting your deposit back -- they'll find every excuse to charge you for "damages" that were already there when you moved in. Parking is a nightmare, trash is constantly overflowing, and don't even get me started on the security -- or lack thereof. Packages go missing often, and the gates? Rarely work.
