These people are just downright rude and are scammers. Save your money and headaches and go anywhere else.

He was able to give me a few recommendations that I didn't think of myself as well as repaired an existing lock without charging me. Would recommend his services to anyone who needs a locksmith.

A little confused. Tried contacting Crown Locksmith through Yelp because we have used Russ for the…read morepast 15 years. But the person who replied was named Jason. They did a terrible job of replying. When we finally got a hold of someone and made an appointment, the company that showed up was this "Ben's Lock and Key". We simply wanted a deadbolt installed because that is out of my skill set. He talked my wife out of getting the deadbolt, saying someone could simply just kick through this door if they wanted. Which is true, but the idea is to deter and slow them down while alarm goes off. So instead he changed out a doorknob with no lock, to a doorknob with a lock. This is something I can do myself in 5 minutes. To change out this doorknob it took him 5 minutes. For his 5 minutes of time and a $14.00 doorknob that could be purchased on Amazon, we we're charged 111.00. 40.00 for the doorknob, 12.50 for labor, and 55.00 for the service trip. We sent Ben a text message a little later telling him how we were upset that we paid this price for a doorknob, when all we wanted was a deadbolt. He still hasn't replied which is why I'm leaving this review. I'm sure they do great work and are reliable. But we defiantly feel we got cheated out of what we actually wanted. I would have no problem paying 111.00 for a deadbolt that would require more labor and drilling. We are defiantly to blame as well for agreeing to just the doorknob, I was not home and only my wife was home, but if he would have said it will be 111.00 I would have sent him on his way. Again, not sure what happed to Russ and crown locksmith....bummer.
