Sorry anyone born after 1990 but us GenX kids know. Recommend 1000% and been using them for years for keys, fobs, (you may need to get the new fob off Amazon but no problem) They have the computer to talk to your cars ECM and way way way cheaper than going to the Stealership to get it done. I had an attempted auto theft and the incompetent thieves destroyed my ignition cylinder and I called around to a few places that ultimately gave me the recommendation of this business. Jacks Key Service. I gave them a ring and I spoke to Debbie who gave me the number of Paul. Let me tell you. This gentleman was the best. Even though I am OUTSIDE of their service area, he STILL came all the way to see me. I had been out of my vehicle for 2 whole days and he came through and fixed the jacked up ignition cylinder in less than 30 minutes AND he went the extra mile to fix the door lock that they had busted as well. He was super friendly, had a smile on his face and even had me help out in the process. This was truly the highlight of my day. Even though I was outside the service area that the normally work in, I was given a fair deal. Top notch service and should I ever need a lock worked on or if anyone asks my recommendation I know where I will be pointing them too! I've read other rave reviews and have come to the conclusion I must have been doing something wrong. Perhaps the urgency I expressed at 7pm on a Friday evening when my clinic's back door wouldn't close, let alone lock, wasn't expressive enough. Perhaps waiting for a telephone call to be returned 30 minutes AFTER being told he'd call back in 20 minutes wasn't an indication how unimportant my business was to him. A 3rd call, placed by me and the response was, "Don't worry. I'll get one of my guys over there tonight." At 8am the following morning nobody had arrived and nobody had called. Another phone call by me received the following response "Oh yea, I couldn't get one of my guys over there last night. I'll send one now." Now a 5th call, by me , to the same business at 11am was met with "One of my guys haven't arrived yet?" I finally called Locksmith 2 U. They not only went right over, they fixed the lock and my business is once again secure. 5 calls to one business and I received zero satisfaction plus my clinic was left unsecured. We ALWAYS go to them for keys because they always work when they've made them. Years ago, they came out to the house and changed locks for us. Perfect work, everything worked fine. Very chaotic time of moving and I needed a new lock installed on my garage door. First company (I won't mention their name) I phoned assured me they could do it and quoted me a price and then arrived late and said they couldn't do it and tried to bill me for the service call after wasting my time. I love coming to jacks for my key needs. They close at 3:00 which makes it hard to get here during the week. The website says you're open on Saturday's. But me and 3...three...THREE other people were here today 10/8 around 12:45. We all left a little mad and disappointed because you're closed on Saturdays. After shopping at Target I stopped at Jack's on a whim to have an issue I was having with my car's door lock looked at. A young man came out within moments and checked my lock sprayed a little lubricant and got it to partially work. He told me it would take approx 30 to 40 to fully repair because he would have to remove the door panel to access the lock itself; nix that I got frozen groceries. Long story short I called in advance two days later; came in on a hot! Friday after 2pm, business was brisk so there was a short wait for service. The repair ended up requiring rekeying the lock and a couple of new keys and still I was in and out in less than an hour and a half and the cost was very reasonable. read more

Called them to make a new set of car keys cause I misplaced the only set I had. The price was about the same as what the dealership quoted me only difference was I would've had to pay to tow it to the dealership vs. Paul coming to me haha so it was a no brainer going with a locksmith instead. These guys are awesome! I called them out to rekey my house when my wife lost her keys. They told me what time they'd be out and kept me informed while on their way. The driver called me to let me know when he was 15 minutes away. I didn't expect that and it was nice that he did so. Once at the house, while keying one of the doors, he found that it wasn't latching properly. That was a problem we'd been having for years now and I didn't report it to him because others have tried to fix it but couldn't. So I had just given up and we were living with it. I only expected him to rekey the lock and figured the latching problem would still be there as it was for years. Well, this nice man actually managed to fix it and the bonus was that he didn't charge us. He said it was included in the rekey he was doing. (The rekey was $10 per lock). Imagine paying only $10 to solve a latching problem that no one else could figure out in all these years. My wife and I were so happy, I can't tell you. I will recommend these guys to my friends and family whenever they need lock work. read more

I was having some issues with my car door locks turning properly. Doug diagnosed them as most likely being caused by worn pins. Price: Flat fee of $45 per door lock ($90 total). When I dropped off the car, Doug asked if he could have about an hour or so to work on the locks. Since their business is located on the same corner as Target and Big Lots, it was easy to spend that time shopping. I called to check-in a couple of times, which was good since it took about two hours to finish. Both locks were now lubed, cleaned, and most importantly, worked! Quick and Easy!
