After contacting AAA last night (Sat, 01/10/26) at 5:45PM, I waited for an hour in my car for a locksmith from "Key Crew" only to get a call from them at 6:45PM letting me know that they were completely booked through the morning (Sun, 01/11/26). -- After several attempts by AAA to find a locksmith they finally alerted me that SOCAL Locksmith would be arriving in 15-20 minutes. And so it was! I was overjoyed and happy that I could finally get into my apartment (close to 9PM) that I locked myself out of. Ron was very, very helpful, quietly gathered all his tools, gave it a few wiggles, used some other magic tool, et voila! Located close to the RV Park we are staying at, went there to get keys made. Two different Master Lock padlocks and they had an amazing amount of blanks in supply. Two blanks were selected and cut on a matter of minutes for a total of $7.32. Was told if there was any problem to bring them back with the padlock for free recut. Trust having them cut that way and probably cheaper than an automated machine. Anyways, the keys worked perfectly and I will definitely return to them, when needed. read more

Hi! This is a bit of a late review but I just wanted to thank Socal Locksmith for all their help a few weeks ago! I was given a key to a storage cabinet at work to put supplies away for the weekend and the key was very flimsy and broke as soon as i tried turning it. This was the only copy and to save my own behind I confided in Socal Locksmith. I called and asked if they could make a new key and I was told over the phone they could make a new key from a code on the lock. I went in and they had two keys ready for me. Upon returning to work a few days later the keys didn't work and happened to find the broken key that I had misplaced, so I went back and I was made two new keys no questions asked and it was super fast as well and the guys inside were very nice and knowledgeable. Thanks for saving my butt guys! My advisor wasn't upset and was very happy with the two new keys, they were much more durable. Unfortunately, one of the locks malfunctioned and I had to request a return service. They responded promptly and corrected the lock problem to my satisfaction. Amazing! If you need a locksmith please call these people. Never ever call a locksmith after dark. If you call a locksmith make sure they have a shop locally. A woman answered the phone. She immediately quoted me the price for the job. She was very professional, very upfront and honest. In less than an hour the job was completed shortly after my initial call, the Locksmith, David, called to let me know he was near and came to my house . He did the job quickly efficiently did not leave a mess. He was respectful and he was kind. The price was right and very reasonable. I own a rental property in the area and needed to get all locks re-keyed including putting a lock on a storage door. I called 3 places before deciding on So Cal Locksmith since their fees were the most competitive/reasonable. Some places charge a lot just for showing up to your home or their "per cylinder" re-keying fee is really expensive. So do yourself a favor and make sure you ask for all associated fees on the phone before deciding which business to go with. I talked with Jonathan (very friendly) and also Kathy, the owner, and was able to schedule an appointment a little after their normal business hours to accommodate my tenant's work schedule. After the work was done, my tenant told me that Chris showed up on time and had all the locks re-keyed in a jiffy. I've already saved their number in my cell phone should I have any locksmith needs in the future. They were true to their word (quoted rate) and easy to work with, which was critical since I am not local to the area. I hope others will experience the same. read more

I needed to have a gas tank cap barrel put back together, all the "wafers" and springs were missing. I called 2 other locksmiths who said it couldn't be fixed. I went to SoCal and they said they would try and would give me a call tomorrow. Within a couple of hours I received a phone call saying it was done and working. Honest company. Not looking to take advantage of people in tough spot. I locked myself out of my home. I called So Cal Locksmith, and they agreed to come out and unlock my door. The gentleman came about 10 minutes later (I live really close to this company, so I doubt everyone will have such prompt service). It only took the gentleman a few minutes to unlock my door. I asked him how much it would cost, and he said $55. He was very professional. I was in complete amazement. I locked myself out out one prior time, and I called a different company. It cost me $165. I felt a little taken advantage of. But I was in a tough spot, and people with keys to my home were travelling. If I'm ever lame enough to lock myself out, I guarentee, I will be calling SoCal Locksmith, as it is an honest company. read more

We came to them because we needed some hard to find RV key blanks. They had what we needed, and cut the keys, which fit perfectly. Since we couldn't find these key blanks anywhere else, they could have charged us an arm and a leg but they were reasonably priced, professional and very pleasant to work with. read more
