This is a fake "insurance" scam! They are not an insurance company but a group that "tries" to locate "cheap" services for their members. I pay nearly $200 a month for this scam, and they never cover the costs associated with your services. I was sent to collections for a procedure that they claimed was taken care of two years ago but now claim they denied coverage, and they never even told me they denied it. Two years later and I'm getting collection calls and letters for $1440.00. When I contacted Redirect Health, they said "We denied your claim," and that was two years ago and no one even told me they denied it. I contacted them when I first received the statement, and they called and said everything was taken care of, and now two years later, I'm getting collections calls and letters. RedirectHealth is a scam! Don't use them, and if your employees uses them, quit and find a better job with better benefits. I will be contacting an attorney due to this negligence and the emotional and psychological distress this as caused. read more

This insurance is ridiculous I have had over 6 people tell me a bill is being taken care of from APRIL 2024. They do not have a live claims representative so I have uploaded it into the app countless times, spoken to the COO who assured me it would be taken care of. I just learned from my PHCP provider Colorado Mountain Medical, that Redirect Health has been kicked out due to BREACH OF CONTRACT because they DO NOT PAY. Redirect will promise you 100% coverage for certain office visits and then pay maybe 25% of the bill. PURE FRAUD. I am looking into my options. I have had it. Their next tier add on for bigger things like surgery called Sedera, promised full coverage at doctor of choice so I chose the doc in my back yard. 2 knee replacements. Our experience with Redirect started out fine in 2022 and was going good until May of 2023 when I experienced an expensive stay in the hospital. Bills were submitted to Redirect and their partner at the time, Zion Healthshare, as the bills became available to me, and they were submitted in September of 2023. I was informed that payment would not be happening because I had cancelled my plan with Redirect, however I was still a customer at the time of submission. There has been a lot of runaround, and we still haven't had the bills paid. We're in the process of arranging a suit to get this handled. The AZ insurance commission was of no help because its not truly insurance. No acceptance of responsibility from Redirect. A formal complaint has been filed with the Arizona Attorney General's office. read more

This office sucks. I have had 5 PCP's in the last 5 years because everyone quits. Because of this I have yet to actually develop a report with anyone. You will never hear from them regarding your test or imaging results unless you call weeks (were talking about 3-4 weeks later) and make a stink AT LEAST twice. Then you will get an MA calling who doesn't know anything about you or why your office visit so when you have questions they advise they will have the doctor or NP call you but you will never hear from them again. can't believe how AWFUL they are. waited 45 minutes to talk to a real person, so I would make sure I got correct information & they completely misled me. said I could go to urgent care & it was in network (they gave me the location) & it would be covered with no copay. their Telehealth Dr was a 4 hour wait. they said it was ok to go without tele-health. get to urgent care & RD tells location (that they sent me to) that it is an out of network visit. that it 100% self pay. they will not cover at all. I have been going to see NP Vee and things are okay unless you get worse. I just found out I have scoliosis and the entire lower half of my body is causing excruciating pain. She refused to help me. This isn't how doctors should be. I'm laying here miserable and they don't care. They refer you to people not EVEN in your network. You get treated like a drug addict even when you have been on the same drug for a year. They charge an additional facility fee not paid by insurance if you need physical therapy. I have been a patient of Arrowhead health now Redirect Health for many years. My last visit was in Glendale with V when I showed up for appointment office rep said I wasn't on the schedule. I explained I had cancelled my last appointment and by phone the rep had rescheduled me for Aug 11 2023 she had forgotten to put in system. The office rep called V assistant and explained mistake made. I was able to be seen. I want to thank the girl that helped me to be seen, she was great. Wow, medical care has reached a new low. Redirect Health says they won't see our son for an in-person visit because he has a cough...which is exactly why he needs to be seen. After a 6 week cold, not covid, he's got bronchitis or pneumonia brewing, he's been treated here for this in the past. Redirect Health should cause you to question your employer's credibility. It is the most backward, inefficient, opaque health management system I have encountered, and I am an earth-worn being who has experienced her fair share of inept health insurance entities. Redirect Health is a makeshift, veneered storefront for gritty, actuary-driven plans such as PCHS and Multiplan. They tout their ever-updating app as the demystifier of all client needs and questions, but reality is that there is always, ALWAYS hard, spirit crushing, time frittering phone penance to be completed with their beleaguered CSRs who apparently work remotely based on the barking and frenzied clamoring for chicken nuggets and Gogurt I hear in the background of most calls. In addition, no matter what you try to do on the app, no matter how green or virgin the latest update, any appointment you want to make with anyone, ever, takes at least three days and no fewer than four phone calls with five different people. In the end, you end up paying more than they said you would pay, whether it's $50, $100, or in my case, $2750 towards a deductible that's beyond the limits of human understanding or AI rhetoric. read more

Redirect Health bought out the Family Practice that I had gone to since 1990. (Arrowhead Family Health). I do NOT recommend at all. Its very corporate and they is very little personal attention. I would change providers but Ive been there so long and they have all my records. Recently I had severe stomach cramps and needed an appt. asap. They wouldn't give me an appt until I dug my negative COVID test out of the garbage - instead of assuming positive intent by a long time patient with no COVID symptoms, I had to dig though the disgusting, bacteria infested garbage to prove I was not lying! When you actually get in the office, they ask a series of questions not even listening to your answers. "when did the pain start?" Me: Thursday night. "How intense was the pain?" Me" 8 or 9. How long have you had the pain?" Me: Like I said...it started Thursday night. On & ON like this - they are just robots. Maybe this is the future of Medical care, but I don't recommend this office at all. read more

Dr. Smith was gentle, and I experienced no pain during the session. Daniel is a fantastic chiropractor, and I would 100% recommend him again in the future. This clinic is horrible, stay far far away. I went to be established as a new patient for a primary care doctor which they told me was covered by my insurance. A month later I get a bill for $250 dollars saying my insurance company covered nothing and my appointment was coded for obesity when this topic was never discussed nor was I told I was considered obese by the physician I saw. When we conferenced called them with my insurance company on the line to ask for them to change the coding since it was not accurate what my visit was for the accounting lady got all shady and was like oh no I will talk to you privately without the insurance company. How professional is that? Needless to say I will fight them tooth and nail on paying this bill and will never step foot in their office again. They have very questionable billing and coding practices for patients. It seems a little unethical to me. I will find another medical provider at this point. read more

When an accident at the breakfast table resulted in my 7 year-old getting a bad burn on his hand from some hot oatmeal, Redirect Health was tremendously helpful. I called the phone number and then texted pictures of the blistered, burned hand to the Nurse Practitioner who diagnosed it as a 2nd degree burn. At 7:00am (before most medical offices are open), and within 20 minutes of the incident, we had a diagnosis, instructions on how to treat the burn, and a prescription for burn cream had been called in to the pharmacy. My son got the care he needed, and the whole process was so easy and quick. I didn't miss any work, the rest of the kids made it to school on time, and it was a huge relief to know exactly how bad the burn was and what to do about it. We also had the option to take him to a clinic to dress the wound, but we chose to get instructions over the phone, which worked out just fine. read more

Even when I had used up my five visits and had to go a sixth time in one year, the Care Logistics Team made sure I got the fair cost for that appointment. read more

If you're in need of care that is important such as medication you take everyday, concerns of your body that are causing you extreme pain, or sickness I would not recommend this company unfortunately. They make it the most complicated to get your prescription and wait till you are out of medication to listen to you, they will not call you on updates and tell you "that's a bummer" (Annette) not even help the slightest bit to find a similar medication unless you do all the research and phone calls yourself. They don't see sick patients in person which is confusing considering they are a doctors office. They don't have the care to figure out what's going on when you are going through extreme pain consistently every month other than prescribe you antibiotics every time and send you on your way home. Absolutely no concern of a blood pressure at the age of 22 that's is 160/106 unless you go out of your way to schedule a check up. Mind you, stroke-level is 180/120. Customer service consistently gives incorrect information which messes up your appointments and one of the MA's had asked me "why are you so dirty". Unprofessional company, poor communication, and the emotional stress that comes with seeking medical care here is not worth it and does take a toll on you mentally because they do not genuinely care about your health. If you absolutely HAVE to be seen here I would recommend one Provider Reina Khamees, she shared compassion and kindness. The MA working with her was a male and also extremely friendly and made you comfortable. read more

What works about Redirect nothing. I've had billing issues which I can not get a call back. I have left several messages, emails and text to get no reply. I'm getting large bills stating the provider can not get in contact or response from Redirect. I got a denial letter as well when Redirect approved and sent me to that provider! I received one email replied have not heard anything back in a weeks. I'm beyond frustrated and stressed, getting large bills in the mail. Are they going to send it to collections because Redirect not doing their job. Several co-workers here are having same problem. Our salesman had to cancel a surgery due to issues with Redirect. Went for my first in office drs visit today at arrowhead health which is I believe the redirect clinic. Beautiful office and great staff. I really haven't liked my regular physician over the past few years and have been wanting a new dr anyways so for me it was a nice change. Check in process was smooth, the dr was super welcoming and listened well. We addressed my concerns for that day and she recommended a physical just to get everything checked. You do have the option to go wherever you want with redirect, however I think that their clinic provided a better experience than I've ever had elsewhere. I've recently have inrolled with Redirect Health. I was initially satisfied with the service and then all the smoke and mirrors. They let me continue with knowing that they wasn't going to cover the treatments needed. The treatments are 2,400 every 2 weeks that I can't afford. As a healthcare user this health insurance is terrible. I have always had great health insurance and have never had an issue being seen by my doctor for over 15 years. After accepting this insurance my family doctor told me they would only see me one more time with this provider since they are not willing to cover normal doctor visits at a normal or reasonable price. Pro's: Yes I received prescription drugs at a very reasonable price. Cons: Unable to get in to see my family doctor and get a normal annual health visit due to the reduced/limited fees Redirect was willing to pay. You have to get pre authorization to be seen by your doctor. I would not recommend having them as your healthcare provider. read more

The Redirect Healthcare Account Managers are all extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. However, the Billing/Claims Department is an absolute scam. There is no way to contact a human being; your only option is to leave a voicemail, but the problem is that no matter how many voicemails you leave, they won't call you back. I've been trying to contact them for OVER A MONTH and nobody has gotten back to me. The Account Managers have sent multiple emails to the Billing/Claims Department (because apparently Account Managers don't have any way of contacting the Billing/Claims Department internally, which is absolutely ridiculous). The fact that they don't have anybody to answer their inbound calls is a clear giveaway that this company deals with an extraordinary amount of complaints. It seems that the only way to get a response is to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which is what I'll do. They owe me close to $3,000 for services that they confirmed multiple times (in writing) that they do, in fact, cover. After looking at the other BBB complaints, it seems that filing there is the only way to get a response. No shade on the Account Managers, but the Billing/Claims Department is awful. read more

If I could give them a negative I would. Their pain clinic under Arrowhead health put my husband on pain medication which helped. The Doctor at the time was a very caring , passionate doctor who truly cared about his patients. Then they changed ownership and this Doctor retired. They brought on a terrible supposedly medical PA by the nickname V. She treated my husband as a drug addict/criminal and really did not care about him. After years she had her assistant call and tell him he is no longer on the meds with no solution or ween down plan. Which is unsafe, cruel and they didn't care. When he got upset with them because of this call they lied and claimed that's why they removed him. I personally quit going to them way before him because of their lack of concern for me. You are a number treated like an assembly line. If you need any kind of pain management run do not walk away. Do not use them and if you do stay far away from V. We all know that the cost of healthcare has gone up after the start of Obamacare, but these guys figured out how to save small businesses money. I have been using them for my small landscape business to be Obamacare compliant for me, my family, and my employees. They have plans that start as low as $86/ month per employee that are compliant with the law! I dont know of a single insurance company that offers that. There are higher levels for more coverage but to be able to start at such a low price so that you do not pay tax penalties is an awesome way to start. Because we save the difference I was spending on my families health insurance ($700/ month for a bronze plan to only $260/month with Redirect), I can save $500 per month into an HSA savings account to pay for my medical expenses that way. Of course we are relatively healthy and hardly ever go to the doctor so we have saved up quite a bit of money (I had an HSA for about 5 years now). You can choose to purchase plans that cover major medical or get some stop loss plans like Aflac that pay for emergencies to divert risk that way instead of giving such a large amount of money to the insurance company. I know that this review will not do this company justice since this industry is so complex and there are so many variables....but the way that rates are increasing annually for health insurance I am not sure that anyone will be able to afford it any longer. I know families paying $1200/ month for health insurance (that is the cost of a small mortgage!!!) If you own a business and are at least an LLC with a W2 payroll you owe it to yourself to at least check it out. read more

Redirect does a horrible job coordinating care, and takes an insane amount of effort on our end. The patient is solely responsible for getting information to them, they never keep track of what you've paid on your deductible and fluctuate what they are willing to cover as far as DME and prescriptions go. Good luck if you need anything urgently because you'll be fronting the money and crossing your fingers that they reimburse you, which has yet to actually happen for us. After paying nearly $4,000 in medical supplies, we were told that somehow we have only paid $100 toward the deductible so we need to pay for the entire next shipment of supplies which is a payment of over $1000. Not to mention they fail to call back when saying they will, and it can take up to a week to actually get ahold of someone. Being that all appointments and supply shipments need to be booked/ordered through them, this is an extreme issue and it's only a matter of time until someone ends up in a very bad situation because they were unable to get their medical needs met in time. Keep good records of what you pay for and what they have paid for in the past, or else you'll end up paying for everything with next to no coverage. The employees you talk to when calling in seem like it's their first day every single time, and need to have the same things explained to them each time. Do NOT use Redirect Health.
