Having nice ladies with great customer service in the front is always a great experience. Their dental hygienist Lily Pham is such a pleasure. She makes you feel like she really cares about you and your teeth's health. She will use a skinny tool to measure your gum health. It kinda hurts if your gums had inflammation, with that tool, the lower score you get the better. All that aside, the deep cleaning was a game changer. I've had the same dentist all my life in Texas, so it was very difficult to find one here that wasn't just trying to take my money. My last dentist advised me to get a crown put on a cracked tooth. I didn't have time to do that before the move, so I had to look for a dentist here. I went with Coast Dental since it's an In-Network-Provider with my insurance. I could tell from the moment I walked in that I was only seen as a dollar sign! I brought all of my x-rays and doctor's notes from my last dentist and they didn't even bother to look at it. They just wanted to take more x-rays(even though I had them the prior month) and get started on my crown. They didn't know anything about my previous dental history or even listen to me, but wanted to get started on my crown right away! You cannot trust an office that doesn't try to listen to their patients or look at their dental/medical history. I refused treatment with them and looked for another dentist. I go to Atlanta dental spa in Roswell now. It's is a little far from Duluth and more expensive, but at least they are good and listen to their patients. Stay away from Coast dental!

But the receptionist was VERY NICE and very friendly! The dentist was honest about what he was telling me about the status of my teeth. He was polite and friendly. He handled my teeth very carefully.. the only thing I didn't like was his assistant. One of the ladies there was cleaning my teeth after I had did a molding for one of my teeth.. she didn't do a very good job because she made my mouth hurt.. she kept poking my gums with her tool.. it hurt. The staff even went beyond to work with my insurance to figure out how my coverage could go from 10% to 40% saving me over $1,000. Just a few months later I had an emergency after chipping a tooth the day before traveling and they got me in immediately, made me feel so much better after the stress and fear of what it'd look like and how long it would last. You can't even tell that I chipped my tooth and I am so grateful they made time for me the minute I called them. It needs to be fixed and they wanted to help me out and they quoted me a price of $1900. I have a very good dental plan that covers implants so I wanted them to turn it into my insurance. They turned it into my insurance got another 500 and now I have a statement for $531 more so if you have insurance they will charge you $1000 more. They will switch the price when you have the procedure done. Please do not go here if you are one of Dr. Roach's old patients. They can't even update my address. I have not lived at the that Dr. Roach had on file in five years. I gave them my new address. They have been sending the statement there. I received an email yesterday stating my bill was past due. The office manager will sit in her corner office and is too good to speak to you. I have never seen Laura Koch in this office. The only dentist that I have seen here is Dr. Shoal Adesoji-Stokes.

He dropped a hot instrument on my lower lip offered no follow up care, and took no accountability for it. I left the office in tears, in pain and I felt helpless and violated. It was a horrible experience and I was left with an ulcer on my lip for 2 weeks, and extreme emotional and professional distress. He didn't follow up to see how I was, and I only spoke with him after I called the clinic myself and demanded that he speak with me. He still took no accountability and put false statements in my medical records to cover up what he had done. This happened in June and I currently have scarring and numbness from the burn. Legal action is underway. I regret ever trusting Milestone Dentistry with my care.
