They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.

When I called to schedule my initial appointment the receptionist Kiara was very pleasant and highly efficient at her job. She sent me the new patient forms right away and upon arrival, all I had to do was provide my insurance and ID. I literally waited 5 minutes to be called to the back. My hygienist Kim, was amazing! She was attentive, personable, professional and kind. She did a great job of explaining everything to me as it was happening. I also think its very clever how they have televisions placed in the ceiling...I've never seen that before. The technology they used was so cutting-edge, I hate that I been missing out on them all this time but if things continue at this rate, they certainly have a lifer. The dentist seemed rushed and didn't take the time to explain my treatment options clearly. When I came back, there was no official "one on one" in his office and when I was leaving, I was told I had to pay $200 for an "emergency dental visit" that they charged to repair a temporary solution while they figured out the "permanent solution." Long story short - it's giving scammer vibes and that they are taking advantage of people. I attempted to call the office several several times: in the past, Kasey picked up the phone right away. Now, somehow magically they don't answer bc they're supposedly all of a sudden so busy. When I discussed the issue with Shauna, she said she agreed and would speak with Dr. Vanstrom and call me back. She never called me back - I called her back and keep getting a phone off the hook. The dentist is consistently rude, abrupt, and lacking in basic bedside manner. Dental visits should not leave patients feeling uncomfortable or dismissed, yet that has been my family's experience. I was especially disturbed when my child had X-rays taken and the hygienist did not use a lead apron/cape. As a parent, that was extremely concerning and not something I was willing to overlook. The office itself is not particularly welcoming, and the constant turnover of hygienists and dental assistants only adds to the feeling of inconsistency. It is difficult to build trust with a dental team when the faces and staff seem to constantly change. There are also some obvious inconsistencies in the office's expectations. Guests are required to wear shoe covers in the treatment rooms, while the staff themselves do not all wear them. If patients and visitors are going to be held to a particular standard, the staff should be held to that same standard. The one bright spot is Cheryl at the front desk. She is consistently cordial, informative, professional, and helpful. She is the only reason I stayed as long as I did. Had Cheryl not been there, I would have left this office much sooner. Unfortunately, good customer service from one receptionist cannot make up for poor communication, an unwelcoming environment, staff turnover, and concerns about how patients--especially children--are treated. Ms. Shaquita, was extremely helpful with directions and making sure we parked in the correct place. I was greeted immediately as I entered the office door. My wait time in the lobby before being called back for my procedure was no more than ten minutes. They offer very spacious waiting area, so you're not sitting on top of other patients while you wait. Steve Harvey, Family Feud marathon is on the TV offering a great distraction if you're nervous. Dr. Sruthi was great and explained the procedure as she went along making me feel comfortable. If you need Oral surgery this is the place to go. It was the amazing experience for me the 2nd time around.

It felt like they are focused on money and not on providing the best patient experience. I scheduled an appointment for a tooth extraction. I was pushed into having my consultation and procedure on the same day. On the phone prior to the appointment, I was informed I would be paying the full price out of pocket, and that the procedure would cost in the range of $600-800. This was very palatable to me. Once I got to my appointment, I met Dr. Cole for my consultation. He did not discuss the details of the tooth extraction, but only discussed two different options for an implant. I had no prior knowledge of how the extraction or the tooth implant process works, and had no idea we would be doing the implant today. He sent me back to the waiting room while they put together an estimate. When the staff pulled me back, they presented me with an estimate for over $6,000. I was understandably very shocked and didn't know what to do. The staff member did not walk me through the line items, and I had to ask questions to understand it while being in shock and trying not to cry. I felt I had no time to make an adequate decision, and that the doctor/office was pressuring me into an extremely expensive surgery. I think this could have been easily prevented by providing me an estimate of the implant prior to the appointment. Or not pushing me to have a same day consultation and surgery. I decided to go ahead with just the tooth extraction because I had an infection that I did not want to wait any longer to treat. I was taken back to the procedure room and put on laughing gas. The doctor came in and noticed I had been crying and asked why. I explained the pricing was shocking to me and the lack of communication around it had made me very flustered. He offered no reassurance or compassion. He literally said nothing. He numbed my gums and left while that set in. At this point I was alone in the room and I continued to get more panicky and stressed, as I now did not trust the doctor and I also did not know what was going on. The doctor had still not explained any details about what the extraction would be like or what the recovery would be like. I was also stressed that I wasn't getting the effect of the laughing gas becuase my nose was stuffy from crying. One of the staff came in and told me to try to calm down and offered to turn up the laughing gas. When the doctor came back in, he asked if I was numb and I said yes and then he started working on my mouth. He did not explain what he was doing and I was terrified I was going to feel more pain because of the laughing gas not getting to me. The doctor could tell I was uncomfortable, I still had tears in my eyes and was wriggling around in the chair, so he told me I shouldn't feel any pain, just movement and to raise my left hand if I felt any sharp pain. But he still didn't explain what he was doing and it all happened very quick. It felt very crass to come in there and rip my tooth out in 30 seconds without trying to calm me down. It was traumatic. Then he left abruptly without any further information. I got very little verbal after-care instructions from the staff in the room, and I felt left alone to figure out what to do despite being given four different prescriptions (including a narcotic) and two different rinse procedures. I'm also left confused if it's normal that there were no stitches done, if I'm suppose to have any kind of follow up appointment, and also what the next stage of the process looks like for me now. One thing is for sure, I won't be getting the implant done by Dr. Cole. They also charge $10 for wifi in the waiting room which gives you an idea of their priorities.
