Time management. In all of my three services I noticed my services were at least 1 hour and 30 mins. Scheduling... I can tell there was a scheduling issue! I was doubled-booked for all of my appointments. My recommendation for that is to tell get more people or make sure to not double book. When I went to get my temp crowns on. Your Medical assistant Katie was the worst. Her bedside manner was trash, but whenever the hygienist or Dr cooper were around (she wouldn't say bullshit if she stepped in it) she told me, I had a weird bite (like I'm not already subconscious of my smile) and made me uncomfortable with every interaction. When I was sent to the hygienist for a cleaning, I told the hygienist McKenzie (sweetest person ever) my gums were irritated and felt itchy. So she went to grab Katie to fix my temporary crowns...this girl was rough and I said "OW!"and she said the numbing was wearing off and gave me another numbing shot. I felt that numbness towards the bottom of my left eye. She had an attitude and I felt the grown cement was on top of my gums, she took it out and told Mckenzie it'll stop now with whatever she said right in front of me as her finger is in my mouth. I went home and could not sleep. I was in so much pain I had to come back the next day at 8:00 am because I felt the crown hitting my real tooth. Dr. Cooper said it wasn't even cemented when he was with Marisol fixing her error and I was this close to reporting you to both of the insurances that I used and contacting hippa because I heard my records being discussed by Katie in another room while there was a patient. The outside is pretty, entrance is off of a busy highway. I love the lobby aroma of comfort and the drinking options but the water wasn't filled. What I did appreciate was the girls in the front Shante, Jasmine, the third young lady with the sandy highlights. Dr cooper and Marisol. That's the only reason I left a 5 star review on google. I was even given a gift card, which was a sweet gesture. But please make sure the paperwork matches the balance. It said $10 but then I found out there was only $5 and.... That was the straw that broke my back because I don't know if you all are being petty or if it's really this unorganized. Like I really appreciate the gesture if it was sincere. A huge scam. Only came here because the company i work with did activations with them and thought they could be trusted. Literally paying full balance for a bill that i was told multiple times would be covered by my insurance just for them to still send me the exact bill that I have to cover! Their staff was very pleasant from the time that I made the appointment 1 month prior to when I was welcomed into the office. I loved that they provided a tour of the office, which appeared to be clean & organized throughout. As soon as I was seated in a room, I was told that despite me completing new client paperwork one month prior, they weren't able to verify my insurance, but were offering a special for new clients should I decide to pay cash to keep my appointment. After refusing to pay for a routine cleaning (that's why I pay for insurance) I contacted my insurance company while waiting in the parking lot. When I updated the office, I was told that they could squeeze me in for X-rays and an exam, but would need to reschedule my cleaning. I was beyond pissed that not only did they fail to follow through in a timely manner, but expected me to drive over 25 miles and pay for services that are covered by my insurance. I was told that their verification team is working remotely & did not process my information until the day before or the morning of my appointment as opposed to their standard week prior to appointments. They messed up my billing three times!!! I have great dental insurance and because of that the doctor always tries to push me into extra services I don't need after I have said I don't need them!! After over an hour of prodding my gums, they tell me I have advanced gum disease in a quadrant of my mouth and convince me I need a Perio Scale and Root Planing in that area...for an EXTRA $141. All they did for my cleaning was remove some tarter with the scraping tool and quickly polish each tooth! My gums weren't even touched! I even reminded the hygienist I was supposed to getting a deeper treatment in one quadrant and she said she knew, but then didn't do it. When I got to the front desk they tried to charge me for this treatment I didn't get! When I explained I didn't get it, they took one part off but still charged me $79. It didn't sit right with me at all so I looked up the treatment that was supposed to be performed when I got in my car, and they did not do it AT ALL! I have been searching for a good stand-up dentist for a few years now after a bad experience with racism at my previous dentist. I found Bella Dental via local advertisement. I looked at reviews and they were positive so I scheduled an appointment as they were also listed on my dental insurance webpage so I knew I would be covered. I walk in for my appointment and was greeted nicely by the staff and was handed the usual paperwork for a new patient. I was taken back on time and the staff continued to be very nice and helpful. I lay down on their dentist chair and the Dental Hygienist hands me a small laminated 4x8 paper with a dry erase marker. They wanted me to write down a hobby, what I do for a living, and what's important to me (there was a list to choose from on that question). On the last question I choose "budget" as important to me because who wouldn't. The Dentist walks in and reads the laminated paper with my answers. He focuses on the budget and addresses it and states they "will keep an eye on my budget". I say thanks I appropriate that. Right before the teeth cleaning starts they present a bill to me. I'm thinking that they will run the fees through my insurance and I'll be fine. I have never ever received a dental bill from a basic cleaning. Ever. They finish and I go to walk out to the check out desk to make sure I get everything squared away. They present me with a bill of close to $400! I say I have never received a bill from the dentist as my insurance covers a yearly cleaning. It seems they tacked on items that were not covered by my insurance and did not bring that to my attention. They charged me for numbing medication per tooth. One tube applied for 5 teeth at a rate of $27 per application ($27x5). They also tacked on products that were pretty much forced on me. No one asked if I wanted those products they were just handed them to me as I walked out but they were on my bill already. I thought I would give it time to see how the insurance is processed. I got a bill from my insurance for close to $100. One of the procedures they performed was not covered on my insurance when they said it was. So now my cost from this Dentist visit has put me at an overall cost of just short of $500. For a once a year basic cleaning I paid just short of $500!!!! I called to discuss this issue with them and they said nothing can be done. Nothing. They really kept an eye on my budget it seems. Do NOT schedule an appointment with this dentist as he will screw you over because his focus is not teeth but capitalism. Worst and most costly dentist experience ever. read more

I'm very disappointed that I wasted so much time here because I loved my hygienist. I finally decided that my time and money would be valued more elsewhere. Boy, was I right. They've convinced me I've needed scaling, additional fillings--that I didn't need, and had me on an unnecessary "periodontal maintenance" plan for years, and paying upwards to $150-200 out of pocket 3-4 times a year. I visited a new dentist yesterday. $35 out of pocket, and I haven't seen a dentist in a year due to covid!! I had the most painful experience here. I paid for a virtual consultation service an out-of-pocket expense. After payment of disclosed amount and day of the consultation service I was not provided any receipt for payment nor any virtual meeting information for my doctor visit. It should never be the patient's client's responsibility to have to circle back and call for any information from staff. So again, I had to call back and request front desk to correct their mistakes by request another appointment and date. The person I spoke with stated their fault and said that I was scheduled too early but did not acknowledge any other responsibility. I was told the doctor only see's patients for virtual consultations after business hours which I was told would be 5:30pm? Meanwhile this office stops answering phones around 2pm. So there's no way I could've been helped. As result , I had to reschedule for the second time. Again, not receiving a visit or meeting information for visit to speak to doctor virtually. I wasn't given a link url, phone number , or email? I then complained and was asked to reschedule to another later time. Meanwhile I still have a charged for a visit that I never had and a promise of service that later happened with record. As patient and hardworking American I feel their was lack of professionalism in service and empathy. Dr. Cooper performed a felling on my one week ago. "It's somethin superficial very little, it will take no time"! Well once she but the anesthesia on my mouth I felt like he was killing me, and even worst when he was drilling. I have usually don't need anesthesia because my pain levels are very tolerable, but he didn't even ask. Here I am a week later my teeth hurt so bad to the point that I'm getting migraines, only really strong pain killers make feel better and sleepy at the same time. My jaw is swollen and so are my gums, but is the pain that doesn't go away and I had the worst Christmas so far! They will see me Tomorrow I hope they can fix whatever they did wrong! read more

I was nickeled and Dimed for every service even though I had insurance that they kept claiming didn't cover this and that. I went to their Lilburn location and apparently people have the same experience at the Clarkston one. I should've known better because at my first visit, a lady walked out the door telling me not to go in because they scammed her money. They seemed so nice. They give you a price and tell you insurance will cover a certain amount. I paid the remaining balance using Care Credit and never thought a thing about it. 6 months later after they have been racking up the bill, they try to tell me insurance didn't cover barely anything. They wanted an additional $2500 on top of the $2000 I already paid! Not to mention, they weren't even for services rendered upon my own teeth! They decided they would just put everyone's charges in my household in MY NAME!!! Not even with my signature!!! So while my household was going there without my presence thinking services were already paid in advance, they didn't say anything. Just put all the bills in my name without my authorization. What kind of company does that, especially a dental healthcare place?! Do not trust them! They will poke your gums so hard and make you bleed and then tell you that you have extensive damage to your teeth and need extra work beyond what your insurance will cover so you walk out paying $300 on top of what your insurance already gives them for preventative care. Furthermore, the crowns they put on fell off immediately while driving home. Came back for them to seal it back on and then it fell off again the next day, even while following all their instructions properly. The next day, they just gave some "cement" and said to just keep adding to it and sealing it back on at home. Really? Nightmare does not begin to cover it! Overly nice and professional in first visit with needs of dental surgery and get full dentures. Took over 3 hours to do exam and x-rays and get though financials as no insurance. Extremely expensive in their pricing! The temporary, that they call immediates, dentures were ordered that day and credit card charged. Called back within the week to let them know we could not afford the massive amount of money for the complete procedure that included a second set of dentures that are called permanents and then it was like Jekyl and Hyde reactions to that notice. The degree of unkind , rude, "make it difficult as possible" behaviour and attitude was unbelievable . I told them upfront that i owed for the temporaries ordered , but would they work with me to pay cost only since we could not afford the surgery plus other set of permanent dentures and the temporaries were basically unusable for their purpose. Post surgery you wear the first set of teeth for only a couple months while the gums heal.Total refusal to help in any way and got ugly with me. I filed a credit card dispute and then they really got ugly. Unprofessional does not begin to cover things that were said to me and how i was treated by them trying to resolve the issue. Credit card company found in their favor as the temporaries were a custom order and non refundable, which is not what i was disputing. Finally went to pick up the temporaries several weeks later when dispute was closed and the lady in front office refused to give them to me as she did not know where they were and the lady handling the case was not there and i told me i had to come back. Again rude verbal battle occured, refusal to discuss or answer any of my questions, when she suddenly found them 30 minutes later. Made me sign for them . Asked what the warranty /guarantee on the temporaries were if any problems with the product itself and was told once i left, it was all over and was no responsibility on their part for anything. Kicker here is we did go to another dentist to do the surgery, that was way below their costs, and that dentist freaked that the teeth were not not a liquid solution that they were packed in from the lab. Bella had taken them out of that solution and allowed to dry out and left in a plastic bag and box that i picked them up in weeks later post dispute closure. So the viability of the the teeth were compromised. Another kicker is that in the credit card dispute, they actually had the audacity to include in the paperwork the actual cost of the temporaries from the lab that i was asking to pay for originally. Cost from the lab $300.00 actual cost charged $3,200.00 Business ethics and morals with these people are zero! Unparalleled greed !!! They advertise care , compassion, respect and kindness and want to treat the whole person and not just their teeth, don't believe it for a second. DO NOT GO HERE. I lost my retainer, and had to get another one. This has happened before, and getting a retainer is simple. Your dentist needs to make an impression to send to a lab to have your retainers fit for your mouth. I waited for 2 1/2 hours just to have an impression made. Then when I came back I asked them if they could help me adjust my retainers so that they could help my teeth shift back to its original place because I had not worn my retainer in three weeks. The dental assistant and dentist told me that they could not adjust my retainers because they were not an orthdontist. Are you kidding me? I told them I have had a retainer for ten years now. Anytime I want my retainers adjusted, the dental assistants have always adjusted them with pliers. I had to ASK FOR PLIERS AND SIT THERE AND ADJUST THE RETAINERS MYSELF!!!!!!!! AFTER I JUST SPENT $400 ON A RETAINER. AND THE DENTAL ASSISTANT AND THE DENTIST SAT THERE AND WATCHED ME. AND SIMPLY SAID - "OH, GREAT YOU GOT IT." THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
