Unfortunately our mother wasn't quite up to the whole Segway thing so the team graciously allowed her to ride one of their bicycles! Amazing service! In addition to the in depth knowledge of the city the team partnered up with other institutions to provide discounts and savings to museums and venues. Would definitely do it again and I would highly recommend this family run business. #BuffaLove

Very positive feedback on all accounts. My wife and I almost went on a tour for our honeymoon 30 years ago based upon our friends "then" recommendation. Things didn't come together then unfortunatley. But, this summer, for our 30th anniversary, we were going to "finally" take that honeymoon trip. Well, you know what happened Spring of 2020. No trip. Of course we are disappointed. I'm sure Beach's is disappointed too. BUT, I can say this. First of all, Beach's didn't cash my full payment check back in Feb or early March. Their policy was to take the deposit only and the rest later. They refunded that check without my asking. THEN, as they were forced to cancel the trip, they have offered full refund. No questions asked. You don't find good people running good business' like this everyday. While we have not yet been on the tour, every minute of working with Beach's has been professional and above expectations. We look forward to when we're all able to travel freely again and to when we can experience the Beach's hospitality on the road. Highly Recommended.

Rob Beach's business appears to be extremely complicated, and he just takes it in stride. He's a skilled rider, knowledgeable guide, he prepares very well, and when something beyond his control goes awry (as inevitably something will) he has contingency plans ready. His dry sense of humor is a bonus. All we have to do is ride, eat, and revel in beautiful scenery. The only challenge is how to take it all in. I recently went on these boats as part of a team building afternoon with my company. I will admit,…read morethe reason I did not try this sooner was because of the expense, and the inability to fill a boat with friends who want to pedal away and hang out on the water! We went out on a gray day, and we knew the rain was coming, but we were prepared. We dressed appropriately, and the captain and first mate explained that we would need to turn back if we saw lightning, for safety. That was totally OK, and we all understood. The crew was friendly and incredibly professional. People tend to forget that boats are serious vessels, and you can easily drown, and need to know the safety procedures. They got that out of the way quickly, but we were fully informed of all the safety procedures and protocols (including the lightning warning). We spent an hour heading out to the lake, had a bluetooth hookup so one of us could DJ while we floated away. The center part has 2 deep coolers where you can load up ice, drinks, etc. You can bring whatever snacks and drinks you want! We had a wonderful time chatting, pedaling, drinking and noshing. We were caught in the rain but thanks to the roof we didn't notice! We all stayed totally dry while on the boat (we did get a little soaked running form the boat to our cars, but that's to be expected!). There are port a potty's at the launch site so you can feel at ease that there is a bathroom. There is a large sign to tell you where to go when you arrive at the parking lot. There is a sunshade and picnic tables while you wait. You have to park in the apartment complex lot, and you just head towards the water- it's not hard to find, but use your GPS if you are unsure. It was a really nice adventure, a great team building event, a unique experience, and definitely something to try this summer!

For eight bucks you can ride all day between the marina and Riverfest Park. While the ferry makes multiple stops for patrons to exit, you can also just ride the ferry for a relaxing waterfront tour. The staff doesn't narrate the journey like the Miss Buffalo but they were very knowledgeable about the area. The boat probably holds about 15 max and we were easily able to board with no wait on a Wednesday afternoon in August. The only thing thst would make this better is if they extended their hours past 8 pm. A great addition to Buffalo's waterfront!

Both times we had Captain Dave, a tall gentleman with salt and pepper hair. He spoke rudely to a handful of customers and both of his bartenders. The first time we assumed he was having an off day, but seeing this attitude a second time on a different boat was shocking and disappointing. Perhaps the customers and bartenders were rude to him first, but regardless, it was inappropriate for others to witness. He also mentions at the start of the ride that there is no vaping onboard, which we found to be more than reasonable. However, my wife and I saw HIM vaping while driving the boat?! Additionally, we felt as if the drinks were overtly overpriced -- 2 oz well liquor for $12 is insane! No bar I have been to in the Buffalo area charges that much for a well cocktail. However, we did feel as if the price of the tour itself was reasonable. The music was also not to our liking, but we understand it is challenging to accommodate everyone. But, it would have been nice to suggest a song or two. Unfortunately, a few of our friends have has similar experiences.... We wished we had a better experience, but as it stands now, we will not return nor recommend this place to others.

If you know someone named Ken with an awful singing voice, don't let Ken-sing-ton-ight. But if you…read morewanna get into Buffalo from Clarence/Wiliamsvile/Depew/North Cheektowaga/East Amherst, then you might want to use the Ken-sing-ton-aight? I absolutely love this road. Now that the 198 has horrifically been reduced to 30 miles an hour this is the last way to get through the heart of North and East Buffalo without being stuck in gridlock. It usually moves quite well (like your ma) and is built below the surface of the city so that it doesn't contribute too much in terms of an eyesore or noise. Definitely the most vital road in the City of Buffalo. And considering I use it as much as I do and rarely end up stuck in traffic here it would be a bit hypocritical of me to give it a low rating. As an added bonus, the cops don't usually pull you over on this road. So a lot of people go well above the speed limit of 50 and do closer to 70. AKA "the 33" which is what locals usually call it, this 2-lane-racecourse begins right in front of Buffalo Niagara International Scareport, and winds its way like a twerking Asp (there was a P on the end, ok?) through Cheek to walk out, into some famous and run-down neighbourhoods of East and North Buffalo, and eventually spits you out in the very heart of downtown. It becomes three lanes after it crosses the famous I-90 (which by the way goes from Seattle all the way to Boston, now how cool is that). The best part of this road is that it will whisk you to parts of Buffalo you may never otherwise visit, and drop you off right in any neighborhood you like. Without the 33, Buffalo would be very hard to circumnavigate. Once you enter the Buffalo section of this road, the speed limit is rarely adhered to. But in the Cheektowaga section, do not speed. The cops are regularly in those parts. Have fun on the 33. But don't do 33 on the 33. You'll get beeped at. Not by me. Unless it's snowing. Then 33 (or less) is probably a good idea.
