Unpredictable and Unreliable; Frustrating Customer Service…read more I rushed into buying an annual membership when the system expanded further north from the downtown and a station was installed close to my home, planning to use it for a daily commute. The system seems ok for occasional use, or along the busier downtown routes, where stations are close by and availability of bicycles and empty docks is more actively maintained.  Stations further from the city core are very often empty, sometimes for days at a time. My second nearest station being over 2 km away, I end up taking a bus much more than I was hoping when I joined the service. Occasionally, I walk to a station that the app shows has a few bikes available, only not to be able to unlock any, neither using the membership card, nor the code provided by the app. I first thought there is something wrong with my account until I met other people experiencing the same problem. Then one day I ride home after work to find my station full, with not a single dock available. This being a station in a strictly residential area, that was at no point in the past more than one-third full, no other explanation than that the Bike Share truck came and loaded the station, without leaving enough space for returns. I called the customer service right away, since by riding back to another station (as I said, more than 2km away), I cannot finish my trip withing allowed 30 mins. I called again when I realized I was still charged the overage fee. Although they could see on the system that the only station I ever returned a bike in the evening, was full at the time of the charge, "nothing can be done", since there is no record of me calling the first time. Although the fee and the bus ride back home are insignificant, the episode was disappointing and slightly humiliating.

They offer discounts for folks receiving ODSP or living in TCHC, but then only accept credit cards…read moreas payment. They don't accept debit or visa/Mastercard debit or prepaid credit cards. They don't accept cards from online banks. They assume people on a low income are eligible for credit cards. They just dangle a carrot in front of our nose only to say oops, sorry. My experience with the customer service is similar to some of the reviews below about the office…read morebeing rude and claiming to be "super transparent" about prices. I usually get a bus service 4-5 times a season and have never had an issue like this. I booked a Sprinter from 716 Limousine for the 1/12 Bills game and was quoted with a base rate of $695 plus a 20% gratuity and 4% fuel surcharge (~$867 total), but after changing my time to pick up time and discussing with them, my new charge came out to $933.72. The extra $66 was what I had assumed was the charge with the added time, as I was told it would be "not that much". Also, this was on my invoice before the game and up to the afternoon of 1/13 as seen below. Without being informed, they had processed an extra $190 charge labeled "Additional Charges 1" bringing the grand total to $1130.72. I did not receive any documentation of this beforehand and when I called to discuss this, I was told it was for the additional time. I was also told that "their staff was well trained", so there is no way they could have been wrong about the pricing ahead of time, and that, "they were very transparent" despite not sending me updated price documentation. Out of the dozens and dozens of buses I've taken to Bills games, this was by far the least transparent, and the most expensive. Not once have I had the price change like this without advance notice and then have the company imply that I should've known. You don't have to look far to find better, cheaper options. My wife and I had a recent trip to Niagra Falls and we used a Touch of Class for our ride from the…read moreairport to the Hotel. I emailed them to get a quote and it came back very quickly. John who contacted me back was extremely professional. He went over Covid protocols for going into Canada and back to the US. Even gave us good times for pickup to make it back to the airport on time. We did find out the two days before the trip that passports were not up to date. Contacted John and he made all the changes for us. Now for the night of the flight into Buffalo. The plane got delayed into Buffalo by about 60 min, so we are now a little after 11 PM to land. We get to the baggage claim area and meet John (not sure if it was the same John as on email). He was amazing and friendly. We waited for our bags, and it appears that one of our bags did not make it with us. John patiently waited with us while we went and filed paperwork with the airline. John still made the night special for us even with all the problems. John got us into the limo and the ride was amazing, he even offered to stop and get us something to eat because everything was closed nearby. The pick-up from the hotel was perfect too. John picked us up in the SUV for the return trip. The car was still amazing and the drive was smooth. Had a great talk with John and he was able to talk about all the history of the area. Not being from there it was extremely interesting. This was an anniversary trip for my wife and me, and we felt like VIPs the whole time. I could not have asked for a better experience. Arrived early for our train ride. The station opens at 3:30am. Clean area and restrooms…read more We went outside to the platform to wait. As boarding time approached, there were more announcements made. The train was four minutes late. No big deal.. Amtrak has coach and business class. The train is comfortable and seating is open. Once the train has started, the conductor comes by for your ticket and scans them. He places markers above your chairs to indicate he has checked your ticket. We have many more stops to arrive at our destination.

The station is clean, restrooms clean, my BIL said he was impressed by the cleanliness of the restroom. It was a good experience for dropping off, train on time and renovated station nice and clean.
