This has been the third time I have used Redding Tree Services. In the past they have removed a 4 story high and a 3 story high Oak tree from my property. This time they removed a 6 to 7 story high Oak tree. This massive tree was 4' away from the side of my house, tucked into a small alley. Although I knew I was going to have Scott at Redding Tree Services do the job, I still got 4 other estimates and they all told me it would take 2 to 3 days, and have to be done by hand, since no bucket truck could get near the tree. I then called Scott, and he said he could do it in a day, using a giant crane truck he owns. His estimate was no more than the other ones. Scott and his crew came to my house and his crane truck parked in my driveway. It reached completely over the full length of my house to the other side, and removed the tree a limb at a time. My neighbors were standing outside in amazement at what Scotts's crane truck was able to do from such a distance. FIVE HOURS later the tree was gone, and Scott and his crew had cleaned my property better than they found it. Redding Tree services is fully insured, so if a worker were to fall out of your tree, you don't have to worry about him suing you and ending up owning your house. Like I said, Scott's estimate was no more than any other one I received, so it just makes no sense to go anywhere else. read more

Redding Tree Service was absolutely wonderful. I had a medium sized job with two front yard trees and a large back yard willow that was growing so large and close to our neighboring fence that it was slowly destroying it. Scott and his crew came out with a large crane and chipper machine, as well as other machinery. This was the best option because of our neighborhood setting, proximity of houses, and overall size of the tree. The crew hooked up my big willow, cut it, and plucked it out of my backyard, using the crane with ease. Within a few minutes, the big tree was chipped and gone. I appreciated how quickly and efficiently they all worked as well as completely cleaned up all shavings and tiny limbs. They were in and out within an hour. This job would have taken all day for any other company that didn't have the crane or other machinery to get this job done right. Scott and his crew were great!! We had a big oak limb hanging over another smaller tree we needed removed so the other tree could keep growing. His pricing was reasonable and competitive compared to other pricing we received. But when he came out it was amazing. On the day he was scheduled I went to work and when I came home I looked out the back window and expected to see some leaves on the lawn from where they had been or some leftover branches out there. But it looked as perfects as when I had left in the morning. I even told my wife they must not have shown up. But she walked out into the back yard to take a closer look and called me out. To our amazement the huge limb was gone, the smaller tree was in perfect shape, the yard was spotless, and I had a nice stack of firewood sitting at the base of the tree. Absolutely amazing!! So, at 4:30 in the morning, a huge oak fell on our garage and my truck with half of the tree still hanging over a main road. After calling 4 local tree services for quotes, Redding Tree Service was the first one there to give me a quote, and the only one to show up!! Scott was open about what needed be done and the cost and after giving him approval, he had a crew there within an hour and the whole mess cleaned up in a couple of hours. We contacted Redding Tree Service after finding them on Yelp and reading some of their reviews. I was eager to find someone who could man the task of removing numerous live oak trees and rose bushes from our property. We contacted Scott and he was quick to come by and get us a bid. He also showed up on time for the job with his crew and they went above and beyond in regards to cleanup. Our deck was swept and appeared immaculate and there wasn't a leaf, or branch left in sight! They also offered to take some things to the dump for a small added fee that were remnants from an old garden. I had to remove six dead trees all above 30' tall on my Jones Valley property. Scott made the quote fast and easy and came in as my low bid. His crew came out with a crane, man-lift, bobcat, bucket truck, shredder and two haul trucks. The trees all needed different techniques for removal and I found Scott and his people to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient in their work. I highly recommend Redding Tree Service, I couldn't have been happier with Scott and his crew with the job they did the and the clean up. I had a large tree removed that was on one side touching my neighbor's roof and the other side had power lines going threw it. Scott and his crew were efficient and professional. Scott and his workers at Redding Tree Service were fantastic! We had 30+ trees of all sizes close to the house removed to prevent fire and storm damages. Redding Tree Service did an awesome job cutting down a big, gnarly knob cone pine tree growing along our driveway, in addition to cutting some limbs on other trees that were growing too low and close to the driveway. They got back to us right away when we called, came exactly when they said they were going to, were quick and efficient, and they did such a great job of cleaning up after themselves, we wouldn't have even known they were here, except for the missing tree and limbs. Had 4 bids and they were the lowest. I've seen the work of others and they were by far the best I've seen. They removed 2 very large live oaks (one of which was over our house), chipped the brush and completely cleaned up after themselves to where you'd never know they were there and did it in less than a day. They put mats down across my front lawn, and were very careful maneuvering around the yard. They ended up needing to remove a fence post to access the yard and then fixed the post and gate at no extra charge. I was very impressed with their whole process, start to finish. read more

I contacted Scotty at Redding Tree Service about removing three valley oaks and one Italian Cypress tree. I was given a date for their removal, and just like clock work they arrived on time, with all the equipment needed to do the job professionally. The Italian Cypress tree was within 2 feet of my house and deck. Tree was taken out without a scratch on the house or deck. See attached photos! I had to have some dangerous Diggers' removed from over my barns, and Scott and his crew were the best! They showed up on time, they had the best equipment I've ever seen, and were very neat, tidy and clean! Wow! Fast, professional, and courteous. We had an old oak tree in the side yard that was damaging the house and roof. Scott and crew showed up and had the tree safely removed (they had to actually use a crane to pull it up over the house and fences) and in a very short time the whole process and cleanup was finished.
