We had them rockscape above our retaining wall, put a potted plant and other plants (all irrigated) with black rocks in our front planter (SO happy with this and they had us pick out the perfect pot online), road base along our driveway and side of house (a game-changer for me as I have balance and mobility issues), and irrigated plants above the retaining wall in our back yard. They had to do hard-core valve work and repair, digging with a bobcat in front to fix the irrigation. This did not increase the price from the estimate. They did a phenomenal job cleaning up. I was amazed at the quality of workmanship. Dave even came back to set the irrigation timer and show me how to do it. This was phase one of two. I definitely recommend them and we are planning to do phase two with them whenever we can save up the money for it. Having said that, due to my inexperience with landscaping, I didn't realize how little coverage there would be over the tarp in the back. Then I found out expected total coverage time to be two years. They said to look at the invoice. I'm not experienced with that sort of thing and would have requested a quote with more initial coverage and less full coverage time. Also, it was tough to get a visual ahead of time for what they're going to do in their quote. You just sort of have to trust all the positive reviews. So just make sure you ask all of your questions before putting your down-payment down. Having said that, I would definitely recommend Clifford landscaping and we plan on using their services in the future.

I've hired several 'sprinkler guys' over the years, but they are mostly into fixing sprinkler heads, but limited in their abilities and expensive. Initially we were very pleased with the service provided. Fast forward to 4 months after the work was preformed we started having problems with the sprinklers. We made several calls to them, left several voice mails .. no calls were ever returned. We ended up having to shut off all the water to our house to fix the problem. We thought the problem was fixed so the fact that they didn't return our calls went by the wayside. Then today again we had issues with the sprinklers. We called several times again. We were even hung up on. They have made no attempt to return a phone call, answer the phone after they hung up on us are you ready or come by to fix the problem as requested in the many messages. Buyer beware with this company. They will not return your call if there is a problem! Not a stand up company. Beyond disappointed.

Brian and his crew were great in the beginning of our contract. We signed on with them last July…read more My husband and I needed help keeping the lawn green and fruit trees pruned and sprayed- very basic care. Come fall he missed the window to aerate and seed our grass. He apologized and offered to terminate contract but if we stayed he'd do seeding and aerating in the spring at cost. A few weeks before Easter he stopped showing up and stopped returning our text messages and calls. Finally after we contacted his wife he texted us a quote to seed and aerate- $500!!!! The cost of 2 yards of dirt and 10 pounds of seeds was only $200 and to rent an aerator is $75 per four hours so the math didn't add up??? We've paid him over 3k ($300 monthly) for things I could have been doing! Blowing leaves with a blower is not a $300 monthly job! We have .26 acres of land- very small yard and a few fruit trees. I hate to bash on small business people, but he really screwed us . I've asked him for half our money back which I think is more than fair and he's completely ignoring us. My next step is small claims court unfortunately . It's too bad our business relationship had to end the way it has.
