It's part seafood market, part food truck, with covered patio seating, picnic tables, and a small tiki bar for members of the Best Catch Club. Super laid-back atmosphere -- and dog-friendly, which is always a plus. I had the blackened grouper salad and it was fantastic. Fresh greens, perfectly cooked grouper, and a generous portion. At $13, it's also a great value. I also picked up stone crabs and the red snapper fish spread from the market -- both were excellent. If you're looking for a low-key, authentic spot with great seafood and good prices, this is it.

My wife and I have been meaning to stop by and check this place out. We've heard some positive…read morethings about this food truck from a neighbor from Jamaica we met at the pickleball courts. It's been a few years since we've tried Jamaican food...perhaps not since we lived in Hawaii 8 years ago. In any case, when we pulled up, we realized there were 2 other food trucks in the area along with a produce stand. After perusing the menu, I ordered the jerk chicken ($16 for medium) and my wife ordered the jerk pork ($16 for medium). I also ordered the spicy jerk sauce ($2) when I was asked if I wanted it. We took our orders home and they were still warm. My wife and I both liked the salad, fried plantains, and the seasoned rice the jerk meats were served with. The jerk chicken had decent flavors but it wasn't spicy at all. Adding the spicy jerk sauce helped but even that wasn't all that spicy. My wife thought her pork was tender and had good flavors. Portion size was good as we had leftovers for another meal. We're not really Jamaican food connoisseurs, but I recall bolder flavors from previous jerk chicken I've tried before, both at someone's home and at restaurants. Lunch for 2 came out to $34 not including tip.

So flipping good. The next I ordered the Baja Pork (Shredded pork in a mojo sauce, sweet plantain & lime tequila aioli), that aioli just makes it scrumptious, I altered this one be a use I'm not an raw onion person- should have listened and kept it on there, now all I do is wonder how much more flavor would have tickled my taste buds!
