(wasn't that busy in the store) before I got help from a girl wearing sweets, like it was casual day. She had little product knowledge and didn't seem to know how to help. Maybe they were short staffed and they threw her on the floor. I felt I could have done just as good if I went to Walmart and did it myself. After a while I just got frustrated and decided to come back another time. Hopefully the next time will be better.

Max -- a manager -- offered the kind of exemplary customer service that is comparable to Tallahassee's former iconic athletic shoe store, Shaw's. I have been a serious fitness walker for over 30 years and need to replace my shoes about every year. I usually wear Nikes, yet have been finding it increasingly challenging to find shoes that work well. The ideal by which I measure all athletic shoes is my old discontinued Nike Turbo Max Zoom from about seven years ago. Nike unfortunately discontinued that shoe. Since then, after I have found shoes that work, Nike changes the model after about a year. This year, after visiting numerous stores, shopping online, and returning a number of shoes, I had found nothing that worked well until today. At Fleet Feet, Max used 3-D imaging to measure my feet and analyze my gait. Then he analyzed that data to narrow down and choose an offer options. He also carefully listened, took my feedback seriously, and patiently and diligently used his expertise and impressive experience with products to find a shoe that worked for my feet and that I would actually enjoy wearing. After over an hour of trying on and testing about a half dozen pairs, I surprisingly settled on Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25. In addition, Max helped me find the shoe in a snazzy plum raisin design that is similar to my trusty Turbo Zooms. Thank you to Max and Fleet Feet of Tallahassee. I'm grateful they offer in-person, knowledgeable customer service and actually made shopping for shoes a pleasant experience.

When looking for Alana's leotards and under garments for her spring show, we bought and tried almost three different items to get a color that was as close as possible to her skin tone. The owner of Mackenzie Kate expressed her empathy over the phone yesterday when my daughter and I resigned ourselves to the fact she would have to get black character shoes due to a lack of options. Misty at Mackenzie Kate told us to come in and she gave at least three options of things we could do should this new line of dance shoes not match her color. For the first time in her life, Alana was able to look in the mirror and see dance shoes that match and represent her! Her face and the sheer joy in her reflection was priceless. Misty's mission was to make sure her advertising, signage, and other marketing items come only after she had a selection of dance items to represent the variance in the dancers of our city because, "every dancer deserves to have a beautiful line of dancewear," Misty stated. I had no idea how complex it is to properly (and safely!) fit a dancer for pointe shoes. I am SO thankful to Misty for going above and beyond teaching my girl. We must have tried on 30 pairs of shoes. Later in studio, my daughter wanted to compare her old and new shoes, so she tried on one of each. The difference was incredible. Her new shoes from Misty were so much more comfortable and will allow her to develop the foot strength she will need to dance safely. Thank you Misty.

So I asked which ones are so I can go grab it. Her co worker said "oh I don't know but we close in 5 minutes" She did give us the discount but started literally throwing our stuff. Now I do understand it's closing time. We sat in line patiently because there was a multiple people in there.
