Finally Found the Right Fit at Fleet Feet!…read more I've been complaining about my feet for years. My routine was always the same: measure the traditional way, buy the size it says, and pick a pair of shoes I liked. But the pain never went away. While visiting my mother, she heard me complaining and recommended Fleet Feet. She mentioned they use actual technology to test your feet and match you with the right shoes for your specific issues. I was skeptical, I didn't think this kind of tech existed outside of a podiatrist's office or major brand labs like Nike, and I certainly hadn't seen it in action. I decided to check out the Tallahassee location. When I first walked in, I was hesitant and immediately said I wouldn't wear "moon shoes" like Brooks or Hokas. However, the manager, Ramey, was incredibly knowledgeable and completely changed my perspective. He helped me out immensely, and I was shocked to find out I'm actually a size 15! I highly recommend Fleet Feet to anyone dealing with foot or back issues. If you're in the Tallahassee area, definitely go see Ramey and the team.

Maximum Customer Service at Fleet Feet of Tallahassee! March 8, 2026. Review…read more I enthusiastically give my experience at Tallahassee's Fleet Feet today 5 Stars. Max -- a manager -- offered the kind of exemplary customer service that is comparable to Tallahassee's former iconic athletic shoe store, Shaw's. I have been a serious fitness walker for over 30 years and need to replace my shoes about every year. I usually wear Nikes, yet have been finding it increasingly challenging to find shoes that work well. The ideal by which I measure all athletic shoes is my old discontinued Nike Turbo Max Zoom from about seven years ago. Nike unfortunately discontinued that shoe. Since then, after I have found shoes that work, Nike changes the model after about a year. This year, after visiting numerous stores, shopping online, and returning a number of shoes, I had found nothing that worked well until today. At Fleet Feet, Max used 3-D imaging to measure my feet and analyze my gait. Then he analyzed that data to narrow down and choose an offer options. He also carefully listened, took my feedback seriously, and patiently and diligently used his expertise and impressive experience with products to find a shoe that worked for my feet and that I would actually enjoy wearing. After over an hour of trying on and testing about a half dozen pairs, I surprisingly settled on Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25. In addition, Max helped me find the shoe in a snazzy plum raisin design that is similar to my trusty Turbo Zooms. Thank you to Max and Fleet Feet of Tallahassee. I'm grateful they offer in-person, knowledgeable customer service and actually made shopping for shoes a pleasant experience.

Nobody is going to measure your foot for size, go fetch several boxes out of the back and then help you try them on complete with the shoehorn to help ease the shoes on your feet. I have been coming here every so often for the last few years when I need a new pair of shoes. Prices are reasonable and, back when we got the print edition of the newspaper, Shoe Station used to be like Bed, Bath and Beyond with 20% off coupons in their ads regular enough that you never shopped here without a coupon. The cashier was very nice, as was the cashier when I purchased the shoes the previous day. My problem is what I seemed to have witnessed. As I was returning the shoes, I noticed a certain type of family come in and the manager didn't speak but did seem to follow the family for a bit. Shortly thereafter, a different type of family came in, and the manager immediately welcomed that family to the store and did not proceed to follow that family. I note this because she has obviously gone through her share of ballet and pointe shoes to put it mildly. We rescheduled our appointment and she spent almost two hours with my daughter not just selling her new shoes but observing her feet and looking at her old shoes to see where they were missing the mark. Needless to say the previous owners of this store did not do as good of a job at this and we came away very impressed with the high level of expertise and customer service that we received. We will continue to patronize this business when my daughter comes home for visits and needs new shoes or dancewear. Great job!

Usually it is easier for me to order from some discounted dancewear site online for my daughter…read more For over a decade, I have hunted, scoured and searched for dance wear and dance footwear that comes in an array of colors. If a link with honey brown shoes showed online, it quickly disappeared or were no longer carried. When looking for Alana's leotards and under garments for her spring show, we bought and tried almost three different items to get a color that was as close as possible to her skin tone. The owner of Mackenzie Kate expressed her empathy over the phone yesterday when my daughter and I resigned ourselves to the fact she would have to get black character shoes due to a lack of options. Misty at Mackenzie Kate told us to come in and she gave at least three options of things we could do should this new line of dance shoes not match her color. For the first time in her life, Alana was able to look in the mirror and see dance shoes that match and represent her! Her face and the sheer joy in her reflection was priceless. Misty's mission was to make sure her advertising, signage, and other marketing items come only after she had a selection of dance items to represent the variance in the dancers of our city because, "every dancer deserves to have a beautiful line of dancewear," Misty stated. Thank you Misty for your efforts to make sure all dancers have representation!
