MANY thanks to James, the store manager, who gave me invaluable assistance in figuring out the correct size of sneakers to buy (yes, I'm that kind of shopper--go in for one pair of shoes and come out with two pairs, because I just can't resist them!). James was extremely helpful in guiding me to the areas to find the shoes I might like, and the soul of patience as I explained the peculiarities of my feet (they vacilliate between 7.5 and 8). He gave me very good advice, in the form of logical, sound reasoning, for checking the proper fit of a shoe--not just "Is it comfortable?" but also "How does the forefoot feel? How about the heel? Does your foot feel supported?" and similar thoughts. I'll be able to use that information in future shoe purchaes, which I really appreciate. He has terrible swelling in his feet and only Hey Dude shoes fit him. He also has severe memory problems and lost one of his shoes. When I entered the store, a young woman who I believe is named Amy, very nicely directed me to the correct area of the store. She saved me a lot of time. When I couldn't find what I needed, a young man very nicely found exactly the shoes I was looking for. He also explained how the shoe box lists the sizes and gender. He and Amy were very personable. Next time that I need to shop for shoes in store, I will definitely go back there.
