He just responded, "no we don't", and he went back to his station with his head down looking at some type of document. Mind you, the store was EMPTY. I was there two weeks prior on a weekend, there was a young African man that assisted me.... As I walked into the store he greeted me immediately and asked if I needed assistance.... What a difference in customer service from this brick and mortar location. It's a tough economy, if someone walks into your store to purchase shoes that average $300 - $600, I would certainly strive to offer the very best customer service possible, treat all your customers with respect and dignity - as you may find yourself unemployed one day! He was supposed to replace the soles on both boots, replace the insole and patch a piece of fabric on both heels that had worn out on the inside. He didn't replace the soles, superglued the holes in the bottom of the soles that were causing leaks. He didn't replace the insole just glued a piece of leather down on the inside and didn't touch the heals on either. When brought up he threw out a number that was 3x what he had originally said it would cost to do the work described when dropped off and would not offer a reduction with the money already spent even though he did not do any of the work requested previously. Language barrier is definitely an issue but all the same to drop off after paying what he said it would cost for the work requested and then have none of it done and told to pay more was very frustrating. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will be looking for a competent shoe/ boot repair place going forward. Save your money and time and find somewhere else.
