This is the second thrift store we decided to go to after the last one was horrible. By the sounds of it, this was going to be promising. Instantly, after walking in and seeing the prices, and then reading what they posted on the screen. We said peace out. Obviously, there is a problem if people are complaining about your prices. It seems like common sense to me that if your prices are reasonable, people are going to buy it up. If you overprice your items, people are going to walk out, just like we did. We will never go back. Love their 80% off sales and $1 days. I always find something good and their staff is always nice and helpful

They don't take anything with spiderwebs on that underneath the furniture.. these people are very lazy beautiful furniture, unbelievable attitude. I will never come here donate shop or anything at the red white and blue community development center never again. read more

Super overpriced!! I've been there a handful of times and each time I leave empty handed because of the prices they're asking for. I was so blessed to find this amazing true charity that is here in the community to help and not make huge profits what once was a resource for so many in need has become a place where so many have come and buy and resell causing the stores too increase the prices and even pull things to put on line to sell, I cannot even afford to shop in the well-known thrift stores . I am 61 and disable my Mother is 84 we struggle every day as we have a very limited income ,This was such a blessing to find I can not thank the staff for the kindness and love they all show not only is it a great place to shop it is a great place to feel as if we matter as if someone cares and that is the true gift. I do hope that we understand how sharing is so important and that your donations here are not for shear profit to the CEO or corporation this stays in this community and they so help so many it is a place where you truly do make a difference so please before taking your donations anywhere else come meet this beautiful staff and see the love they share and know you are helping this community and that is such a blessing may we never forget, Charity begins at Home .....God Bless All Of You . read more

I have made a review about this thrift store before and how amazing and clean it is inside and how there are lots of items and no junk . But this review is about the lady Samantha who is usually in the front, she is honestly the best person and runs the store Samantha is always opening and closing ( it seems ) she is super smart with math & can do everything off the top of her head & knows exactly what is in stock and where the item is located . She is a great down to earth person & never forgets a face . She has the best customer service. I just wanted to give Samantha a well deserved shout out that she deserves! read more

Short woman with neck tattoo who works the front desk has got to pick a different occupation. If it's so difficult to have decent customer service, I suggest working somewhere where the customers who need servicing don't "bother" you. She walked away from the register to go out back, we waited a while for her to return so we could get rung up, after minutes of her leaving the front unattended my younger brother went to find her. To which she huffed and puffed and said "I literally JUST walked away but okay whatever." Ma'am, he's a child, who asked nicely if we could check out now. There was no need for attitude. And with this being the worst encounter of the many we've had, i'm surprised she's still employed. read more

Love this place. The prices are actually thrift store prices with daily deals and they have a great selection of glasses, furniture etc. the only thing lacking in my opinion is the clothing section but it's not that big of a deal. I have been to this little thrift shop many times, prepandemic and bought quite a few things. Things were organized and priced fairly in the past. Today I went in to browse, and the displays were very mishmash... and very expensive. I picked up a non designer coffee mug... $8. My daughter found an pair Aerosoles of worn out loafers for $15. So, we won't be back until their prices get more family friendly AND more inline with other thrift shops. read more

The store itself is very unorganized and cluttered and could use some organization. They need someone,to clean this place up and add some organisation and maybe even some beauty to it. The area where the clothes are stocked is VERY decent and organized well. The floor where all the toys, furniture, photo frames, etc. are place could use a woman's touch. Priced fair and some times VERY reasonably priced. I got a very cute shelf today for $8.00. Overall, this Thrift Store is located in a very cute part of Quartz Hill and it is one of my favorites Thrift Stores. The store opens at 9:00 AM. I being the first one through the door. If you are a Thrift Store Junkie like myself, I would encourage you to support this local Thrift Store. Everyday you are sure to find something you didn't see the day before.. read more

Traveling back through the area and stopped to check out the store... very organized, everything is priced and everyone working was friendly. I really like that the proceeds go to help veterans unlike some of the other thrift stores. A little off the beaten path but If you have time stop by and check them out. read more

When ever I start a new project that involves wardrobe, I come here first. The clothing selection is small, but they range in size for such a low cost. Everyone who works here, is always so nice and so helpful, and I do genuinely feel welcome here. You can't expect to find a great item every time, just like any thrift story. But, when I find something, it's always special and unique to me, whether an entire cast wardrobe, a vintage Polaroid camera, camping supplies, etc., Def recommend this place is added to any Saturday morning deal finders list. read more

This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores for many years, the owners have always been super nice! But I went here just yesterday and it looked like they got new employees and they were incredibly rude. I first found a mirror that had a price tag on it and left it up at the front so I wasn't carrying it around the store. When I was done I went to the counter with my items and also said I have a mirror as well. The girl sitting behind the counter gave me a rude look and another lady told me the mirror wasn't for sale. I said oh but it had a price on it and she was like no it's one we use in the store. Typically if thrift stores don't want to sell something they put a sign that says *NOT FOR SALE*. Not be rude to a costumer because they didn't know it wasn't for sale. Then I just stood there because I was ready to check out with my other items and the lady sitting behind the counter just stared at me some more, she must be the stores statue. And the other lady that told me the item wasn't for sale asked if I was ready to check out and proceeded to help me. But the lady that helped me also asked the person after me if he knew the dart board he wanted to get was $100. Like she's shocked someone wanted to buy an overpriced dart board that was priced at your store? Also the prices have been unreasonable lately, I understand the store has gone through a lot in the past years and they always do have deals. But it's off putting when I see them throw away items because they didn't sell, instead of just making things cheap and they can sell more. It honestly makes me sad to give such a low review to a thrift store I once loved to go to. read more

This store is a great addition to the community. The owner is helpful, the staff is friendly and the proceeds go to our veterans. The owner has a passion for our veterans. They not only own a store dedicated to them but they also put on community events. I bring all my donations here. They are always willing to help me unload and chat with me while I wait for a receipt. They have a good selection of items. Pricing is great and they do offer sale days. Parking is easy, just drive down the side into the back. I recommend this cute little store to anyone. read more

I always find great stuff in here, for phenomenal prices! They have a 25% off deal on a different section every day, and a 50% off deal on all items that have been in there for 4 months. They also have a 15% discount for both veterans and seniors. The staff is super helpful and friendly, it's conveniently located, and they donate directly to veterans. read more

i go here so much and i've never been disappointed! there is a guy that i think works there and he always helps me find some dope CDs! i just went today and he showed me so many Led Zeppelin CDs plus helped me picked out a few that were also so freakin awesome! He also gave me some cool insight about CDs and bands i've never heard before! i find such a great selection of books/home items. the clothing section isn't my area but you find some cool items in there for super cheap! definitely in my top 5 for favorite thrift stores in the antelope valley! also the staff are so freakin friendly it's amazing! read more

This is a great place to shop! They have a big selection for the size of the place. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The prices are amazing, especially on clothing. Always love coming to Red White and Blue. The new store is great and they have so many useful items at an affordable prices. I always find a treasure or two when I come in and love that when I purchase something I'm benefiting my community. I also appreciate that we see the funds from this store actually benefitting veterans and veteran programs in our community. I recently saw on Facebook that through donations and community partnerships they were able to give a homeless vet over $3500 to help find housing for his family. If I could give less than one- would. Was pleased when this organization opened locally and their purpose figured this would be one I would support. Previously taken items to Good Will or organizations who would work towards helping others. Today took several boxes with clothing (recently retired, so great shape items), books, and household items. When attempting to drop off items where on two previous visits was assisted in front was told rudely by woman to take boxes to entry door. Placed them by side of door way, went to inform counter woman I was there making drop off. She rudely informs drop off was in back where I had never been directed. Seeing as boxes were inside told her there they were. She then responded they better not be heavy and not so much as a thank you. Quartz Hill promotes helping local business owners but if this is Red White Blue way of professional interaction and treats donors/customers will take my items elsewhere. read more

Poor business. They offered shutters online and I contacted Jess about them asking if I can pick them up the next business day since they were already closed. I got there at 9 when they were suppose to open (didn't open until 9:30) and they sold them to someone else right in front of me. Shady ass people. Never coming back and it looks like a junk shop.
