I ordered a caesar salad not knowing it would be so big that it would be three meal potions. Sauce on that side and toast cane with it. Bit disappointed that the bacon on yet salad was the fake bacon bits but it was still good to have some greens! Got my milk intake too. The pizza toppings just didn't have much flavour it seems, which may speak to the quality of the ingredients. Also disconcerting was that everything, veg, meat, paneer, was cut into 1/4 inch cubes. I don't know about you, but when I make pizza I slice veg and meats, not dice them. That diced look makes me think of lousy frozen pizzas, low quality food service stuff. The Philly's Beef had almost no meat on it, teeny little pieces here and there, for $17. Boring, tasteless, blah! Sadness. At least jalapenos are free? I love the sesame seeds in the crust, but you need a cake if you're gonna use icing! The greek salad had a small amount of diced veg and feta, and was 90% romaine lettuce for $9. I never finished the pizza, it tasted even worse the next day. I am very disappointed with the quality and the price point of the food, a real shame cuz the pizza ideas look fun. The local Pizza 73 in this area happens to be excellent and is less expensive. Go there instead.

When I received the flyer in my paper that this spot now sells donairs...well...I just had to give'er a go! So I "rushed" in on Sunday for a nice "brunch"consisting of a slice of pepperoni & mushroom pizza, and of course...a donair. I will chalk up the slow service to the fact that I arrived not ling after opening on a Sunday morning. I was long done my "appatizer" pizza slice before I finally got my donair. But I get ahead of myself... Upon walking in I didn't expect much given the increadibly sparse interior. Just a couch (presumably for waiting as there is no table nearby) and four lack-luster chairs along a window bench. Not much for branding or posters. Pretty basic. As the pizza was in the warmer, I got it right away to enjoy while awaiting my donair. And wait I did. Pizza was alright. Crust was the best part. But me...I'm here for donair! The sole staffer disappeared into the back for a while. Presumably to prepare the veggies for my order (it was pretty early after all). He then came out and carved my meat off the spigot and placed it on the grill. Next, ge served another customer, and then back to te grill where my pita was placed ontop of the meat after a shot or two of water. He eventually would up piecing my donair togethet at the front counter. Once done wrapping it...he put it back on the grill...and pressed it against the grill a few times. This...made a a little leary, and had me expecting things to ge cold...or luke warm at best. What can I say. I've never seen this done. Finally...what seemed like 15 minutes later (keep in mind I'd allready finushed my pizza and had nothing to do but watch and wait) I was served my Medium donair. Not sure what makes it a medium...they only have 2 sizes (med and lrg). Anywho...as my two food items and bottle of water only came to ~$13.50...the value is on point! The reveal... Decent size. Hot. Steamy. Moist. Juicy... Huh. Looks good. Aaaaaand... Damn. Tastes much better than expected! The meat was well seasoned, great temp and plenty juicy. Modest veggies were fresh. Pitta was solid. Sweet sauce was prevalent and tastey. The mess in the bottom of the bag was a tell tale sign of a job well done! Hot damn! Color me impressed! I would indeed be content with this spot as my local shop! Sherwood Park's donair scene improves once again! Now...i think my arteries meed a break! Perhaps 51 will be a while

I think that the high school across the street has a lot to do with it. It's sort of a convenience store with a lot of junk food and candy bars, slushie machines, and ice cream cones. My guess is that they have all of that so that they can sell lottery tickets and cigarettes (which they seem to sell a lot of!). It's a crafty idea! More to the point, they also do freshly made Donairs, Subs, Pizza and Pasta. I haven't tried any of the Subs, but the Donairs are pretty damn good, and quite generous to boot! A jumbo Donair was big enough to handle 2 sittings for me. And with fillings that couldn't be any fresher. (I saw the guy slice the tomatoes and lettuce for my order). But the Pizza is GREAT! Fresh made dough, quality toppings made out real food (when they say chopped bacon strips, they mean it!) generous with the cheese, and better than average sauce. Price is better than the standard Pizza chains, and the pizza is waaayyy better. A little place like this deserves more recognition.

I ordered the donair pizza and it was the best donair pizza I've ever had. Not only were all the ingredients fresh, whoever put this pizza together did it with style as they added a little bit of artistic flair when the drizzled the sweet sauce on top. It was like getting latte art on my pizza so not only did my pizza taste better than most it looked a lot better as well. The service was also better than pretty much every pizza place I've ever been to. I ended up interacting with three different employees and all of them were smiling and genuinely happy to see me. It was the cherry-on-top of the whole experience. The only thing I wouldn't recommend would be the dine-in option. They literally only have two tables inside and being a sit-down restaurant really isn't their thing. But if take out pizza is what you're after, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather go.
