I went to the dentist immediately and required an additional three dental appointments (within eight days), ultimately needing a crown to repair the damage. The owner did apologize, which I appreciated. However, that apology was not accompanied by any meaningful action. The only response offered was a free meal, which felt highly inappropriate given that I was in the middle of dental treatment resulting from the food they served. I was told the ingredients were reviewed and nothing appeared defective, yet under no circumstance should a normally crispy chickpea be capable of breaking a tooth. After the initial apology, communication stopped, including any follow-up with corporate to work toward a resolution. I was particularly disappointed with how this was handled at both the store and corporate level, including receiving a voicemail from a corporate team member that was clearly intended for the store owner (awkward). This whole situation has been incredibly unfortunate and the handling of it afterwards isn't sitting right with me.
