It was alright. The pizza was expensive for how small it was. The garlic cheese rolls were okay, I guess. Nothing I'm eager to run back to, and I left two uneaten. Sauce was kind of tasteless, nothing special. Cheese was pretty good but nothing stood out to me. Its alright pizza. I'd see it working well for groups after an event. And there's not a lot of non fast food pizza in Lynden, that I know of. So this will do. But I'm not spreading the gospel about it either. read more

OMG we do not live by one of these and didn't know of them. It's probably best we don't live by them because we would be eating here EVERY DAY! The personal pan pizzas are amazing - my friend commented multiple times that they were cooked "just right" (and she used to work in a pizza joint). This place would've been worthy of five stars yet they made one flaw and forgot to give me my drink until asked and had to show receipt. Flavor of the pizza was great, plenty of toppings and its all the purrfect shade of brown. Nice crust thickness, not too thick not thin with a crispy underneath and soft inside. Came to me nice and hot and toasty! It was lacking sauce but I like heavy sauce. The crust was damp with it and saw red on crust so know was there but really didn't taste. Ambiance of the restaurant has a Hawaiian tiki hut theme and was nicely laid out. A waiter type person came by and actually brought me a to go box, a plus but doesn't make up for the drink. We walked in and ordered a pizza to go, planning to eat at nearby Overflow Taps (see other review). Knowing we would have to wait a bit, we each ordered a beer to enjoy while they made our pizza. The young man told us to have a seat and he would bring our beers out. We had to wait 10 minutes for our beers, delivered only after I went up to the counter and asked for them again. Shortly after, he brought out our pizza, so it sat and cooled off as we finished off our beers. So, the service wasn't too swift. We ordered a large Portugee pizza (Portuguese sausage, green onion, and tomatoes) and took it to Overflow Taps in Lynden to enjoy with the Fresh Hop tap takeover. I am not normally a thick crust pizza fan, but this pizza was delicious! The crust has a Parmesan crunch that really makes the pizza special. The decor is fun and casual. This is a pretty consistent regional chain. They make great oven baked longboard sandwiches, too. read more

You order, you pay, you eat, you leave full of regret and cringe at the thought of the words your scale will have with you in the morning. Somewhere in between struggling college kids serve you food and beer. Meat lovers: above average, but it won't leave you longing for it in the middle of a Netflix binge when you're several cities away. The Mac n Cheese pizza: Oh the Mac n Cheese pizza! Listen folks, this place has a swanky menu with a bunch of flashy Polynesian toppings. Skip it! Trust me, skip it, go right to your comfort home and get the Mac n Cheese pizza. It's brilliant. It's amazing. I makes your heart swell just like the first time you saw Molly Higgins in the eighth grade with her perfect denim skirt and suddenly you were carrying your backpack in front of your waist. This was our first time visiting and it definitely won't be the last. We arrived with a party of eight and were graciously welcomed and offered options for seating. The dining area is very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and could answer all our menu questions, even my vegan oriented ones. Our four large pizzas were amazing and abundantly topped with fresh ingredients. The crust was excellent. The two different salads we ordered were huge and the ingredients were fresh and top quality. I usually don't right reviews, but had to say thanks for such a wonderful experience. Try it out next time you're in Lynden. You won't be disappointed. read more

One thing I've been consistently impressed with over the last several months of ordering food here, is that our food has always been hot, fresh, and delicious. The times we have decided to dine in, the dining room has been clean and inviting, the napkins and straws kept full, and the bathrooms were clean as well. The service is absolutely fantastic! Everyone who works here goes above and beyond to take care of your needs. I appreciate the communication between each other to make sure they're all on the same page as they work together. The food is lights out as usual. My go-to is the Boogie Board sandwich. The layout also adds to the ambiance that allows a large group to be on one side enjoying one another's company and the other side where you have a quieter setting. I've only been to CK's a few times whenever in the area; and this was our first visit to their Lynden location. Like our previous visits, we were not disappointed! We visited during the lunch rush on a Saturday, so we had to wait a few minutes for one of the empty tables to get cleaned. We ordered the cheese balls (soft, cheesy and amazing), an all meat pizza and the (Waikiki) bbq chicken pizza. The pan style crust had a good crunch on the outside, yet still soft on the inside. CK's has never been scared to add toppings...awesome! At first, you'd think a 12in pizza would be small compared to other "large" pizzas; but they make up for it in the pan-style thickness and the sheer amount of toppings (fyi, we brought home a half pizza as leftovers). All four of us agreed that the BBQ chicken was the best we've ever eaten! We look forward to visiting again the next time we're in town! We highly recommend Coconut Kenny's! read more

Usually Coconut Kenny's is our favorite pizza. Last night I ordered three large pizzas to go. They were not good. The crust was soggy. The mushroom pizza had maybe two mushrooms sliced on it. I had asked for extra, as in a two topping pizza with mushrooms for both toppings. So disappointed! The cheese was so minimal I wasn't sure if they forgot it. read more

I've only been here twice so far, but the food has been awesome both times (and I had a slice of their pizza once and it was pretty darn good). Yesterday I stopped in and got the King Mahalo (during happy hour when all food is 20% off) and was very pleased. The bread they use for their sandwiches is soft and basically amazing. There was lots of bacon and chicken and the bbq/chipotle sauce with the cilantro just makes the sandwich. I'm definitely going to have to get it again. This is my first time here, so I'm only giving it 4, though we received 5 star service tonight. It is my son's 7th birthday today and he wanted to dine at Coconut Kenny's tonight. We ordered their meatballs, and a salad that I split with my daughter. My husband and son had their own personal pizza. The establishment is pleasantly clean and well maintained. Their staff is polite, knowledgeable, and upbeat. My son shared the news with the staff of his birthday and they all greeted him. He felt very special. Our order was taken and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. About halfway through our meal, we were greeted by another one of the staff, who came bearing dessert which she advised was 'On the House'! Cinnamon buns. (Or something like that) the kids, including us adults, enjoyed our 3 course meal. All in all, the ambiance, decor, cleanliness of the restrooms, staff and service, menu and food were great! Has been the MOST consistent pizza place I've ever been too, all the workers know exactly what they're doing. Not sure how there's only 80% positive feedback here, been to all locations and is just the same every time. Pricing is perfect according to how many topping you get on just one pizza. And sandwiches too, anyone that says they're bad are CRAZY and maybe have covid because they obviously just can't taste anything. read more

Rolled through in my big truck, time to eat. We had been to the CK in Ferndale a few years back and couldn't remember which town it was in. (We are from Illinois). Seen this one on Yelp and remembered right away. My wife made me take her here. I had the Roast Beef dip, was delicious! She had a small personal pizza, liked it quite a lot. I am really happy a person can have a vision like Coconut Kenny's, which I would imagine was some sort of a risk, and put it all in motion to produce a unique environment and a delicious product just far enough off the beaten path to make me want to remember each visit. Tried it a couple times now thinking it might get better. No luck. It's heavy on the stomach and greasy without the rich flavor. It's pan pizza, but being from Chicago, it's not pan pizza.
