Some people spend too much time and psychic energy bonding with their golf balls and slow down play. You will definitely lose a few balls on this course so just expect it, live with it and keep moving. With the thick vegetation and the meandering creek these balls are gone forever so just let them go. II'd play here again anytime!

Lots of elevation changes. I rented clubs as well and they were very nice (Taylormade). Beer cart lady was on the course. She offered snacks, beers, soft drinks, and liquor. I wish I could play golf on courses like this all the time. I typically play up at Cape Royale on Lake Livingston. No comparison. If you get a chance, spend the money and play golf in Colorado during the summer. All the courses I passed on 71 in the many ski resort towns looked very nice.

The course runs beside I-70, so mountain serenity comes with a symphony of highway noise. Other private courses in the region do too, but are set back further so the decibel level is lower or insignificant. This location nevertheless is a must-play if you're anywhere near Vail.

They said they were not hold the golf cart for 15 minutes explained that the course was wide open according to the reservations, we are experience, golfers, and seriously doubt if we take two hours to play that nine holes of golf also offered that I would give them my phone number and we would end around short if needed. We are recently in a very serious car accident and I'm unable to walk the course. My wife even has a handicap placard to show that she's unable to walk that far. I am very disappointed in the lack of consideration, considering the long drive that we were prepared to do and the fact that the reason we were gonna be 15 minutes late was because of a road closure for over an hour. Is this really how you treat your customers I will make sure that everyone I know, including every golf course, golf store, instructor, a travel person I know is aware of how you care about your customers. When asking the woman in the pro shop about getting paired up she said there was no one else playing if I wanted to pair up with other people (which I did want to) then I should go over to River Valley Ranch because they are busier and I would probably get paired up. Also when I asked about if they had GPS on the golf carts or yardage books or any maps of the golf course(because we have never been there), her reply was no but they do have them at River Valley Ranch maybe you should go there. And oddly enough my golf cart died after 13 holes and I had to limp back to the pro shop and swap carts. I think that's kind of ironic considering that there was really nobody there but yet I had a dead golf cart. So even though I love the golf course, I think it's overpriced for the service and the lack of amenities. Maybe they'll get enough money to go private again and they'll all be happy.

So when the weekend took us to Granby, we decided to kick off the weekend at Granby Ranch. STAR #1 - While we chose to only play 9 holes, it is an 18 hole course. So go ahead a book what you're feeling! STAR #2 - The mountain views were wonderful! STAR #3 - The course was well maintained. STAR #4 - They do offer up a driving range to get a little warm-up in before you hit the course. Even better, the range was included in the greens fee. The only drawback was that it was a little on the pricey side at $120 for my husband and I for just 9 holes, While I'm not the strongest golfer, I still had a blast! We make our way up to Granby a few times a year, and I'll gladly make my way back to Granby Ranch when we do.
