friendly workers and the patio outside has a fantastic view. With a view like this all i want to do is drink around 7 beers and hang out. They have pacifico on tap it's amazing i never see pacifico on tap. i live in denver and driving back after sitting out on the nice patio and drinking seven beers wouldn't be the best thing to do though unfortunately. So i have to limit myself to two beers out in the patio but hey at least i get to enjoy this nice view with my buddy doug.

What a wonderful course! There are 3 nine-hole courses, so you can mix and match to choose your own adventure. The course is well maintained and the views are incredible. Dad paid (yesss!), but I think greens fees were in the $80 dollar range. Well worth it. Even though the altitude is higher than 8800 feet, my drives still didn't crack 300 yards... c'mon altitude, gimme some love!!!

Hidden golf course in the Colorado Rockies. Awesome....where else does a moose walk out on the 11th hole? Great scenery...fresh air and the Bistro restaurant also very good.

Nice course at a reasonable price. Kind of hard to get to from Denver. Have to drive over Berthoud Pass.

Absolutely loved it. It's not a difficult course but it was beautiful to play and the people were amazing. I will play it again.

What really made this trip stand out was staying in a condo in Basecamp One. The ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient and added such an extra layer of ease and enjoyment to the whole experience. Being able to step right out and onto the mountain (and back again) made everything feel that much more relaxed and enjoyable. The resort itself has such a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere, making it perfect for families, beginners, or anyone who just wants to enjoy skiing without the pressure of more intense terrain. The slopes are wide, well-groomed, and especially friendly for first-time or casual skiers--you can really take your time and enjoy yourself. The bistro was another highlight once again--the food is excellent and far better than what you might expect from a typical ski resort. It's the perfect place to warm up and recharge. The vibe across the mountain is always a good time. There's great music playing, and you can hear the sounds of wintertime fun all around--laughter, skis carving through snow, and that lively energy that makes a day on the mountain so special. If you're not a regular skier or just want to avoid risking bodily injury on more challenging runs, Granby Ranch is absolutely the place to go. It's fun, approachable, and consistently delivers a great experience. We'll definitely be back again.

I wasn't a fan of the stove in the room and the large amount of dogs on the premises. I love dogs but the amount of dog poop on property as I'm trying to enjoy my coffee wasn't good. Which is sad because there are poop bags provided by the property.

Don't take your friends from out of town or you'll end up looking like and idiot. Saw the beverage cart one time who apparently leaves at noon according to the guy wiping my clubs off. carts have some useless gps added as an afterthought thats better than getting kicked in the shin I guess but nothing like the nice carts you get at a 80$ course.. Terrible carts, tiny range, no beverage cart, possibly more grass in the parking lot than the greens on the front.

They should be ashamed to charge people $125-$365 (depending on the time of year) for the terrible experience they now provide. Something is amiss here- I'm wondering if they're having major financial issues. The person checking us in had a horrible attitude, and the day only got worse from there. The course was in extremely rough shape, and that's being kind- dead spots all over the fairways, rough greens, tee markers missing (which haven't been moved in weeks resulting in massive dirt areas on every tee box), cart paths with large holes- the list just goes on and on. We waited 20 minutes for 4 hot dogs at the turn, (we were the only ones in line) which were ice cold when they finally came, and then the server was indignant when we asked for replacements. I guess the $9.43 they charge for a regular size hot dog doesn't include heat. Pro tip- the bathrooms out on the course are cleaner than the ones in the clubhouse. I could detail numerous other issues we experienced, but I'll stop here as you get the point. Just assume every employee you associate with will have a bad attitude and do nothing to make your experience a positive one. I don't like leaving a bad review, but with so many other great courses in CO which value customers and provide excellent service, I can't in good conscience let anyone spend their hard-earned money at Raven without letting them know what to expect. I have given up on this once great golf course and played my last round there- if you chose to ignore this review and give it a try, don't say you weren't warned.

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is one of the best venues in Colorado. We researched and visited a LOT of…read morevenues, and are so glad we finally found Deer Creek. First of all, the venue itself is just gorgeous. The barn has a rustic feel while still being super nice and comfortable - there's heating, air conditioning, and real (nice) bathrooms! I didn't even realize that was something we would have to consider until we visited a dozen other venues that were more expensive with no on-site toilets. There are 2 ceremony sites to choose from. We chose the gazebo site, and the views were amazing. Our guests were mostly from out of town, and they could not stop raving about how gorgeous it was. Next to the gazebo, there is a well-kept field with yard games to play, and our guests had so much fun. The only downside to the barn is that if you have more than 100 or so guests, some will need to sit upstairs, and it is a bit isolated. However, we really only had people up there during dinner, so it was not an issue. We utilized the amazing outdoor fireplace patio for speeches and first dance, and although it was a little chilly (especially for August), there was such a cozy feel. The "Man Cave" is also an amazing bonus feature. We kept having to pull guests upstairs to dance because everyone just wanted to hang out downstairs and play games because it was so cool. The venue itself is amazing, but Lindsey, the Site Coordinator, was awesome to work with. She was super responsive and was always there to answer my questions. You can tell she really cares about her couples and just wants everyone's day to go as smoothly as possible. Deer Creek Valley Ranch definitely ticked all of the boxes we were looking for in a venue. The value is really great for what you get, and all of our guests were super impressed. If you want a Colorado rustic mountain feel with elegance fairly close to Denver, look no further.

Christian and her assistant, Sarah were so responsive and personable that made our planning process easy and actually fun even from a distance (we live in Chicago). She even gave my wife a warm hug and calming words of advice on our wedding day. Deer Creek Valley Ranch will always hold a dear place in our hearts. I'll never forget the amazing sight of my wife coming over the Covered Bridge on a horse drawn carriage to marry me. Now I hear the place is even better now that their Man Cave is done! I hope we get to go back and visit again soon!
